The JWs challenged me to read the story for myself instead of believing what I was told.
The first thing I noticed was that God makes the first move by sending the Angel Gabriel to tell some Jewish shepherds that he has been born and to go and see him.

And yet today we have what's called the nativity scene which shows the wise men instead of the jewish shepherds. We know from scripture that the wise men did not show up untill around 2 yrs later. And that was only the first mistake that I found.
Scripture is not in error. What is in error is the traditions that have grown up around Christmas. It was absolutely not winter. Shepherds are not that stupid. They don't sit around in the snow. It was much more likely in September.

I saw a movie last Christmas that went back to the Bible itself. When the wise men showed up, the family was living in a house and yes, Jesus was a toddler, not a baby.

There were almost certainly many more than 3 "wise men". They would have had an entourage of servants and an armed escort. The "3" comes from the number of gifts offered, not from what the Bible says about the men. That the men were of high office and highly influential is obvious from the fact that Herod met with them.

It's proper to disregard man's manger scenes and popular misconceptions. That's why we look to the Bible, God's holy Word for the revelation.
The following is a link to Matthew 2 that describes what we know about the wise men.
Can you point to a verse that says that Satan led them to Jesus from a UFO?

Matthew 2
Now your being silly , of course it doesn't say UFO.
Lets try this one - And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.

So where do you see the Dragon/Satan in the story ? Most people will say Herod , but when Herod was born his mother named him Herod and not Dragon or Satan. Altho most christians will accept that Satan was using Herod to get the job done.

I'd rather stay on subject friend.
Since the only reliable information we have is in the Bible, I was just wondering what you base your belief that Satan sent the wise men on?

Matthew 2 says,

1Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
This is a group gathered from the East to bring gifts and worship King Jesus the Christ.

The adversary to them and Jesus was a mass murderer. Would not the power hungry King Herod who slaughtered all of the toddlers and babies have more in common with Satan than kind wise men who worship and take valuable time and resources to provide for the One they were assured was the prophesied king of the Jews?
They come from a pagan nation, yet likely were influenced by the prophet Daniel from previous generations. It was not told, but likely were believers considering their knowledge of prophesy, and dedication to make that costly, risky trip.
Then I ask, why would Satan lead a UFO to direct these men to Jesus to do the following?

9When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him:

Satan does not worship Jesus and provide gold for his future needs. If it were Satan, he would do what Herod was moved to do shortly after.

Another reason that I don't believe that Satan directed them or his UFO is because Scripture clearly states that God told them in a dream to not go back to Herod but another way to make sure they got back home safely with their message. In no way did they disobey God, endanger King Jesus, but rather disobeyed Herod the mass murderer who later tried to kill Jesus.

12And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. 13And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

God evacuated His only begotten Son, Mary, Joseph, and the wise men before the kill team showed up to attack families and murder babes.
Do you see any problems with my reasoning from Scripture?

10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Well that star knew where Jesus was so why didn't it show up just before the wise men were to enter Jerusalem and lead them to him from there , if it had done so then Herod would not have known about it and innocent children would not have been murdered.
The fact that a star millions of miles out in space is able to designate the private home address of Jesus is beyond comprehension , However as you have shown , the star stood over his house , and as we both know , that's impossable for any star to do so what are we left with ? , a shinny bright light in the sky hovering over Jesus house. Back then it could only be a star , today it would be a UFO or drone.

The star knew where Jesus was? Really? That's like saying that the Pole Star knows where north is. As for the star showing up just before the wise men were to enter Jerusalem, the Bible tells us that the wise men had seen the star when they were at home in the east, then they saw it again after they had left Herod:

NKJV Mat 2:2 saying, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him."
(They don't say, We have followed His star from the east.")

Mat 2:9 When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.
Mat 2:10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.

Yes I know that David and thank you. The star that i'm talking about is the one that shows up just after they leave Herod.

Angels in the Bible are often associated with Chariots of Fire and other Aerial Phenomena which I am guessing are the UFOs and Aliens of today. It seems both Angels and Fallen Angels use UFOs to travel. Would you say that is correct?
Angels, fallen angels, demons and other spirit beings do not have bodies. They do not need any kind of vehicle to travel.

But the Pole Star indicates north, but that doesn't mean that a star has knowledge of where, or even what, north is. Surely you don't think stars have knowledge.
I don't bite that easily Dave , you have a restful evening my friend and get some sleep , you need it.

Thanks, but I don't need to sleep yet, as it is only 11:10 AM here in the UK. I wasn't trying to get you to "bite", just pointing out the facts that stars do not know things.
Well we all know that Dave , which leaves us with who is controlling the movement and direction of the so called star.

I believe that God is:

Col 1:17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

I understand that the word translated "consist" means "to hold together." Anyway, who else would either be able to arrange for a star to guide, or would even want to guide anybody to the infant Jesus Christ?

That's a good point.
Since Herod inquired diligently what time the star appeared, we know that God hid it from him so he would not know where Jesus was.
After they left Herod, the wise men saw the star again.

After watching the segment that addresses Ancient Aliens, 136:10 Mark, I will guess that you might have gotten that perspective from that or another source that tried to interpret Byzantine art.
