He's pointing out that there is indeed an "end of the age" and "the end of the world", according to the Bible for people who take the time to read and study it all and know the difference between the two.
I thought this was a basic belief whether you're a futurist, Historicist or whatever Exegesis is applied. I had no idea the Preterist had no hope at all other than to die. No return of Christ or anything.

“True, will happen after the millennium.”

Kind of funny Peter , an apostle , is preparing them for his return and doesn’t mention it nor did Paul Jesus or anyone else mention some earthly millennium riegn . Rather they all taught that the church was waiting for Jesus retirn and the actual promised kingdom to come to pass
You had best dust off that Bible of yours and study these eschatological terms. After that, pack up that amillennial fantasy and dispose of it in the dogma dumpster labeled "bogus".

For the exact phrase "Day of the Lord" (or "Day of Jehovah"), the eschatological count is:
Old Testament: 19
New Testament: 4

The 19 Old Testament occurrences are found in Isaiah (3), Ezekiel (2), Joel (5), Amos (3), Obadiah (1), Zephaniah (3), Zechariah (1), and Malachi (1). The 4 New Testament occurrences are found in Acts 2:20, 1 Thessalonians 5:2, 2 Thessalonians 2:2, and 2 Peter 3:10.

For the parallel phrase "in that day" (bayyom hahu), the counts are significantly higher:
Old Testament: Over 110 times in the prophetic books (most notably 43 times in Isaiah and 20 times in Zechariah).

New Testament: Approximately 15 times in an eschatological context (such as Matthew 7:22 and 2 Thessalonians 1:10).

It is mentioned by Jesus atleast, agreed on Peter and maybe even Paul.

Jesus said to the apostles that they will rule over the 12 tribes of Israel, Jesus said to the churches that they shall rule over the nations with Him, Jesus said some people will be given authority over many cities, the Apostles asked Jesus if He will now restore the kingdom to Israel. So make no mistake about it, they believed it, and thats just the New Testament, once you go to Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zechariah theres a lot of information about the millennium, but I chose these ones on purpose cause I know you guys like to twist the OT and claim to be interpreting in light of the new.
Peter was propounding post-rapture DOTL judgement constantly.

And yes, the start of the 70th week tribulation definitely is the start of the millennial age.

The preacher is Dr James Tour. He is a brilliant scientist, a fervent evangelist and knowledgeable about Israel's place in God's plan and purpose. It is quite long, but well worth hearing. Replacement people don't listen. You will have to change your minds if you do.

Christians don't cuss.

Very good, Jesus is with us, His followers, today and everyday. We have holy spirit in us. The father, son, spirit are in one.

Then what's your point again?
Hard of seeing? OK, I pumped up the text to max for you. Can you see it now.....🥲

Mat 28:20
“teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the AGE.” Amen.

So?
Isn't it wonderful?
What are you worrying about?

Just make sure don't do anything outside of Jesus command us. Such as thou shall not murder, stealing, covet, immorality, adultery....

I go by what the Lord teaches in His Word, not by writings of men telling what they thought God said.

According to God's Word there was an old covenant and now there is a New Covenant.

Those that dispute this either don't know how to read or don't own a Bible.
Yeah, no need to look it up if you don't want to.
Just follow Jesus. Simple.

You don't believe there's an old and new covenant?

I'm the one saying there was an old covenant and now there is a New Covenant.

this thread is about Replacement Theology that sadly started with some of the church fathers.

They were the tares Jesus warned about. The devil led them to bring in catholic teaching and then the devil brought in reformed teaching. These so called early church fathers were cluless and did not have the Holy Spirit because they were tares.

Or …..maybe it’s just you being misinformed.

No, I'm going by what Jesus said in order to be informed:

In Luke 16:16 Jesus said: the law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it

but naw it’s probably just a misprint

Yeah well let me know if you think this is a misprint:
Hebrews 10:9 - Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

God said He would make a New Covenant - Jeremiah 31:31-34

Did you by chance notice it is the Lord Jesus speaking in Hebrews 10:9
Some folk just won't let what the Lord says to get in the way of what they believe

remember though he’s first preaching only to isreal

That's false doctrine. He was teaching the New Covenant that was made available to all mankind.
He was not teaching the law of Moses to the Jews as many false teachers claim deceiving many in to ignoring the teachings of Jesus

Until Jesus preached the gospel and then died shedding his blood the old covenant had all the authority

So you claim Jesus lied then?

In Luke 16:16 Jesus said: the law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it

If the old covenant was still in force, then you'd have to claim Jesus was in error by teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom which is teaching the New Covenant not the old covenant. You're a very confused person.

Most people here believe there's a New Covenant, what some here don't believe is that the House of Israel/David will be brought into that New Covenant at a later date.

So you are NOT worried that denying the Second Coming is heretical? I suggest that you START worrying pronto!

Here are a mere handful of relevant passages that utterly debunk all things CT and amil. I expect little more than the usual trifling tawdry inane defense.

1Co 2:6 - However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.

Mat 12:32 - “Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
Heb 6:5 - and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,
Eph 1:21 - far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

Zechariah 12:10

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

God pours His spirit upon the people of the second temple restoration, and again on the day of Pentecost Acts 2, and on the Hebrew early church.
I understand that you have been taught to place the fulfillment date where it fits your doctrine, yet the Bible does not give you warrant to do that.
Perhaps you have never understood that this is wrong.

Yeah, that could put a different spin on things, couldn't it?

Hebrews 9:28

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

The "spin" that cv5 and yourself put on the ESV translation of Hebrews 9:28 is another example of much the same sort of thing.

Here it is in the ESV:
28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, NOT TO DEAL WITH sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

In the KJV:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time WITHOUT SIN unto salvation.

The words "without sin" are direct from the text, that simply says "choris hamartia".
So the ESV "not to deal with" bit is probably added in because of their commitment to free flowing English,
yet these are the words you have cashed in on to add your pretrib rapture spin.

These are just 2 examples of a characteristic I am seeing throughout dispensationalist interpretation, and I am not as much blaming you as much as I blame the doctrine itself.
You are both good dispensationalists, and these kinds of abuses of scripture are tricks of the trade.
