Your welcome. I would apreciate any kind of correction to how it's taught, or any additional help. Thanks. That was a great post...thank you.
How long have you been a non-sinner ?
I would really appreciate a direct answer.Your welcome. I would apreciate any kind of correction to how it's taught, or any additional help. Thanks.
I've been a non-sinner since I repented of sinning against Jesus for His love's sake.
Me too.I did seek Jesus while still sinning, until I understood that no transgressing against His commandments is acceptable to Him.
Very insiteful !The Lord Jesus Christ the righteous only accepts unconditional surrender.
Exactly, especially the simple truths found in Scripture, that some sinners wilfully remain blind to.Not all people on earth sin, as some have turned from sin and started to walk in the Light...in Whom is no darkness.
You seem incapable of responding without twisting my words. That's an unpleasant pathology and you should get help to deal with it.You preach that believing Christians never are sinfully walking after the flesh? If you are, then you agree with the point.
Glad to hear it.
Oh, an exact date? I know the exact place and moment, but only the year in 1991 or 1992.I would really appreciate a direct answer.
How long have you walked in the Spirit ?
Amen brother. All by mercy and grace of our Lord Jesus.ATG said:

Me too.
Not only true, but also the only response needed to so-called unconditional salvation.ATG said:

And true.
No thanks. I only try to take you are your own words, and try to actually apply them to the argumetn at hand. But then your MO is never to own up to them, when they prove your own double speak. You seem incapable of responding without twisting my words. Yours are false accusations with no evidence. No thanks. I only try to take you are your own words, and try to actually apply them to the argumetn at hand. But then your MO is never to own up to them, when they prove your own double speak.
I agree. When a light is shined in a dark room , it sometimes reveals that things aren’t quite in order …
“But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”…..
“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.
But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.””
Luke 6:35-38, 46-49 NIV
“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.”
John 12:48 KJV
I think some folks don’t bother looking at thier own sin in the light and never acknowledge it to begin with so they might think they have no sinI agree.
If we are walking in God, the light, there cannot be any sin in us.
I'm not so sure about that, but maybe.I think some folks don’t bother looking at thier own sin in the light and never acknowledge it to begin with so they might think they have no sin
I find it intersting that folks can cite verse 8 as a defense for their sin, and not even realize the next verse negates their POV.“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Nobody has used that one against me, personally, as everyone has sinned in their past.If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
1 John 1:8-10 KJV
Yes.It’s true that sin is unacceptable it’s also personal based on what the person knows is sin
“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” James 4:17 KJV
Those sins are not the true believer's 'later'.It’s also true that Jesus doctrine deals with sin we commit later.
“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Matthew 6:14-15 KJV
I disagree, as by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, men can be, and remain, free from sin. This is of the doctrine because he already knows people are imperfect and will still sometimes sin. It’s why we have repentance confession atonement a propitiation . This doesn’t mean we’re free to sin it means that when we do happen to stumble we have atonement and doctrine wherein we can repent and be forgiven . “Mercy for the merciful judgement for the judgemental “ but all have sinned
Yes.“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.””
Luke 6:36-38
some day every word we have spoken we will be held to account for and every action as well . But we can have mercy that day or judgement without mercy
Who is your "we", in that sentence ?“because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.”
James 2:13 NIV
Its going to be what Jesus said in the gospel that judges us in truth we’ve all sinned and need mercy come that day we give account
That only apples to OT Israelites...not GentilesIf we go biblically …..anyone who’s ever stoked a fire , prepared food , or done any work at all on a sabbath day for instance ……. Is commiting sin . A sin of death actually. Anyone who has ever coveted anything or anyone …….is commiting sin.
Those seeking to be righteous with God, will come to Him for that righteousness.the idea is that Jesus actually came to save the sinners , he didn’t come to save those who believe they are righteous . And it’s interesting that the sinners came to him and listened and became followers but the self righteous they always stood far away and sneered . when he began to preach sermons like this I wonder why that is ?
Sinners came flocking to hear him but the self righteous stayed away and judged everyone from a distance
““Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
…So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”
Matthew 7:1-2, 7-8, 12 NIV
