Not saying that.

The Christian man who had been a homosexual stated that he never felt normal heterosexual feelings until after regeneration.
He appeared on the John Ankerberg show with his wife.

What do you do with the guy that got born again and has been living for years as a christian, other christians vouch for the guy that he is definitely a born again christian and then the guy decides he's gay, divorces his wife, and marries another man claiming it's not a sin because he is in a committed relationship

Do you consider a guy like this to still be a chrsitian in good standing with God?
This sort of thing is happening out there. How would you counsel a person that does this?

"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us." 1 John 2:19

Yes they were not of us after they decided to turn away from the Lord to go be sin.
That's the "they went out" part.

Prior to their backsliding they were born again and would have gone to heaven had they died.

The verse implies they were "not of us", to begin with.

Amen! 1 John 2:19 - They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. NEVER WERE.

The reformed are taught that God made them a sinner putting sin in them when He formed them in the womb and as such they will never ever be able to stop sinning, and they are taught anybody those does stop sinning is trying to earn their salvation.
The reformed do not teach this.
Yep, and they don't even know they have been ensnared by the devil.
You should look into that log in your eye.

Reformed theology does not teach that God made man sinners. Instead, God created humanity upright, and sin entered through the fall of Adam, leaving all people with a fallen nature that must be redeemed.

If the person did not know it was wrong but found out later, then he should repent. Change his lifestyle in accordance with God's will.
If he already knew it was wrong and continues in that sinful lifestyle then he is obviously not a born again Christian.

Who said you should counsel him?
How are you qualified?

Don't get trapped.
It can become that way and drag you down.

If he was truly saved?
A child of God?
God must deal with him, not you.

He is going to go through hell on earth if he is truly saved.
God will be doing it.

I once knew some like that when I was in Bible college.

This is only a suggestion.

But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother
or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler.
Do not even eat with such people. 1 Corinthians 5:11

grace and peace ...........

Bible college huh?
Under what denomination did you receive indoctrination?

It was independent - and non-denominational.
The Lord gave me a dream showing me it ten years before I found myself there.

Interesting part?
The Bible college did not exist there ten years before when I had the dream.

A friend of mine is saying well know ministers teach that all future sins have already been forgiven even before they are ever committed.

Is this actually true? If it is then what is stopping christians from doing sinful things knowing they are already foriven ahead of time?

Also if someone never confesses their sins after being saved does that mean those sins are not forgiven. I heard a preacher say once that we have to confess our sins if we expect to be cleansed from all unrighteousness and he said 1 john 1-9 makes that clear
Like Minority Report right? Is it “well known ministers” or “pre cogs”? So if you have committed an unknown (unconfessed) crime(sin) in the future would the ministers come for you, or the police (who were informed by the pre cogs?

So many questions…

Look at the opposite side of the coin.

A man (not a Christian) wakes up in hell and asks God, "What am I doing here?"
God says, "Well next week you could be in bed with your neighbor's wife."
The man says, "But have never done anything like that."
God says, "But you could have. Even though you have not yet committed that sin you are sentenced to be punished for it...."
Is that Justice?

Sins that have not been committed yet (may never be committed), that don't even exist yet can still only be forgiven if confessed and repented of.
How can one repent or confess of a sin he (or she) has not done yet?

I John 1:8-10 "8) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10) If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."
Verse 8 shows that all have sinned, verse 9 says we must confess, verse 10 speaks in the past tense (we have not) and belongs in the context.

Rom 3:25 specifies it is "the remission of sins that are past."

No one will be sent to hell for their sins.

Jesus paid for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2

And He {Jesus}
is the propitiation
{atoning sacrifice}
for our sins
and not for our sins only
but also for the entire world.

In Revelation 20:13, it says men will be judged according to their works, not sins.

And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead
that were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

Why works?

Because one work will be looked for and not be found.

Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life,
which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”

Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”

Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

John 6:27-29

You know I was joking right? Where do you guys come up with these fairy tales? Ya’ll don’t have anything real going on in your lives that your praying seeking God for? Instead you’re talking about fantasies and silliness?

So what kind of indoctrination did this independent bible college provide to you?
Reformed theology indoctrination?

Did they teach you that Augustin, Calvin, and Luther were "great men of God"?

The bible is the place to find answers to your questions.

We studied to some extent Augustine and Calvin.

For one class a pastor taught Calvinism as if he were a Calvinist to test the ability to analyze and reason of the students.
Some gobbled it up.
Others saw problems with it.

I took note of the type that gobbled it up and the kind of believer for other side.
The ones who rejected it made note of God's love and wanting all to be made able to decide for themselves.

Our fallen nature resides in the flesh.
The Flesh is the king on its throne of our depravity.

For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh.
For I have the desire to do what is right, but I cannot carry it out. Romans 7:18.

Our soul is not our flesh.
Before we were saved?
Our soul was a slave to the ways of our flesh.

God saves our souls.
Not our bodies.
That is why it says we have been crucified with Christ. (Galatians 2:20)
We will get an entirely new glorious body when resurrected. (1 Corinthians 15:51–52)

Without grace no one could believe.

God's grace must silence the effects of our flesh so that each soul can decide about God.
Decide just like the angels did when they chose between the Lord and Satan.

We are made able to decide by grace.
By God's power of grace.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may
rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

That is why we must be saved by grace. God's power for enabling us to free up our soul to make its choice.
