HOPELESS

Dear Christians,I thank you all for your loving responses to my problem. I still feel condemned and no matter what I pray I know that God has made me for destruction. It is a horrible feeling to know that the Creator of the universe does not love you and does not care about you. I feel that my life is over and there is nothing I can do to change that. I plead with God but He does not hear me. I had many hopes and dreams for my life and they have all been all trashed. I cannot teach, I will never get married or have children, and worst of all I am going to Hell. I see God as a monster, an ogre and I cannot understand why this punishment is upon me. Most of my friends( both Christians and non-Christians) are living full active, and productive lives. I am here at home waiting to die. It is a horrible feeling and I cannot forgive God for putting me in this position. I feel like a piece of worthless junk. I feel so depressed that I cannot even cry at times. I have been to doctors ,taken meds, gone to counseling and nothing works.It is not fair.If God is truly love, I do not see it.I truly feel hopeless. AS always, jeaniebeanie

First off God has not put you in this position the enemy has. This is where the enemy wants you to be cause if your so busy hating God and yourself how can you ever have time to receive his love and salvation? It's simple. You cannot.

You mentioned "I still feel condemned and no matter what I pray I know that God has made me for destruction." my dear friend you cannot think like this! How can you expect to be redeemed by God when before you've even got on your knee's and begun prayer you have said in your heart "NO MATTER WHAT I PRAY GOD HAS MADE ME FOR DESTRUCTION" God is not the one condemning you here, your condemning YOURSELF. The only chains that hold you back are the prisons of your mind.

This thread is a sea full of words like these; "I cannot, I do not see, I do not, I will never, It is not fair" over and over again. Before the days even begun your already convincing yourself of negative things that have not even taken place! You are drowning in amongst your own self pity! There is a quote that goes something like this. "I am an old man and have known many troubles, most of which never happened.."

Why are you knocking yourself down before you've even had the chance of getting up?

Do not focus your eyes on other peoples success, focus your eyes on Jesus Christ! Walk by faith not by sight! If you walk with your eyes solemnly on him and live by his word EVERYTHING else will fall into place.

Pick up your bible and read the word of God! Rather than feeding this negativity of self sorrow and self pity!

"THEN YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE" !

JESUS CHRIST CAME TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE! How can you say he has doomed you for destruction and hell, he LOVED you so much he lay his life down in his own accord to the hands of evil men and was brutally nailed to the cross so that YOU MAY KNOW THE TRUTH. SO THAT YOU MAY HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.

Fall at his feet and pray like you have never prayed before! Cry out his name! JESUS I BELIEVE YOU ARE THE TRUTH, THE WAY, THE LIGHT. THE ONLY WAY TO THE FATHER IS THROUGH YOU. YOU BORE THE WORLDS SIN ON THAT CROSS, GLADLY. YOU BLED, YOU DIED, YOU ROSE AGAIN FOR ME. I ASK OF YOU IN YOUR HOLY NAME SET ME FREE ! FREE FROM SELF PITTY, FREE FROM SELF-CONVICTION FREE FROM GUILT, FREE FROM ALL THE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS AND THINGS IN MY LIFE, DELIVER ME FROM THE HAND OF THE ENEMY, AS I LAY MY LIFE ON THE ALTAR FOR YOU TONIGHT. Jenie, I want to witness to how you can get past seeing the failier, and know the love of Jesus.
Jesus said, that we must set aside ourself if we want to know him.
Jesus also said I am the vine, you are the branch.
Too often we keep looking at the branch (ourself) to see the things we think should be (the fruit).
If we do not see fruit, we convince ourselves of failier.
We are not to look at our branch, but at Jesus always (the vine) because it is when we keep our eyes on Jesus, trusting everything, that the fruit will grow.
I had to learn this and I know it seems crazy to do so, but just try this.
Praise Jesus, in Him God Our Father for everything, and I mean everything good and bad in your life.
Praising Jesus is more than saying its good, it is putting in Jesus, Gods great love and power in your life.
When you praise God for everything, it takes satans controll away compleatly, and gives all to God Our Father's love for you! Just keep praising untill you see His love and power.
I know you want to say forget it, but do not, praise God Our Father in Jesus.
This gives all of God's power and great love into your life.
What have you got to lose by trying?
You can only gain in Jesus.

Sorry you feel this way jeanie. But, " I cannot forgive God for putting me in this position" This is I believe is 1 reason you are still in bondage. If you can't forgive, you can't get forgiveness.

I am sorry you are going through such a tough time, but I hope you can believe these words I am about to tell you and Truth and they are Truth.

You say you feel "condemned to destruction", tell me, where in the Bible does it say that? In fact the Bible says the opposite: Read Romans 8:28-39, especially verse 32.

God, as Jesus, died so that we may have a relationship with Him and that "we may graciously receive all things". That does not mean all things in life, but all things pertaining to a deep relationship with God and things necessary to physically live. How can you say that you are destined to destruction when Jesus made a way for you to be saved from that destruction? The devil wants you to think that nothing can save you but that is a lie. It is good to go to God and cry out to Him all that is in your heart but you have to know what is more important: God or a "full life"?

God is the point in life. A relationship with Him is all that matters and everything else will fall into place. Do not go to God and ask why don't I have a full life like so-in-so. Evaluate your relationship (or lack of) with Him in accordance to scripture. Tell me, do you truly believe this scripture (Romans 10:9-13)?

A person can have a murdered family and suffer from poverty and sickness and still have the most fulfilling life because he/she has Jesus. Jesus is the goal of a persons life, not an earthly "good" life.

God created the whole universe: the majesty of the stars down to the atoms moving about in everyday things, yet he still created you and not just created you but created a way to have your sins justified and you redeemed through the sacrifices and resurrection of Jesus. And yet you dare say you were "made for destruction"? It is good to question your existence and purpose in life but by saying that you are spiting in God's face and counting what He did for you on the cross as worthless and nothing but trash. If you were the only person on the earth, He would have gone to cross just for you, even though you would be the one to nail Him to it.

I am saying such strong words because it is a serious matter. You must realize that God created you to have a relationship with you but sin makes that relationship impossible. It must be justified and paid for; Jesus did that in the cross and through His resurrection. Do you honestly believe that? Do you really believe that Jesus did that for YOU? If not, then there is no way you can have any relationship with God at all. If you reject Him, your sins are not justified and paid for and you condemn yourself.
