I plan to go away for a while, perhaps to the joy of some.

I have an opportunity to commit myself to the word of God, prayer the gospel and prayer for others for an extend period of time.
Please pray that i would come to know God and Jesus in every way I possibly can.
That i might be fully equipped for the work of the Gospel and the kingdom in the power of the Spirit for the Glory of God.

I pray God in Jesus name, I want to go all the way!
Go as far as you can take me into your life in Christ.
To make full use of the salvation you have given and neglect nothing of Christ that is for me.
So people can see through me to you and so what is left of me and my life may be given for what pleases you.

Thanks in advance for those who would take up praying for me in this.

I am in agreement with you on this. I will leave the light on for you while you are away. I liked the part about making full use of the salvation that is given to us by God and was made possible for the shed blood of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. As a former soldier I know the importance of being fully equipped. You will have to put on the full armor of God. You already have the helmet of salvation.

"perhaps to the joy of some. " We as the word says.. are not here to please man. And as a old song said.. that desire is a confirmation the destination is there. God would not put it in your spirit if it was not going somewhere.

And what you want to do.. EVERYONE of us should be doing :)
