hi,
i would like to ask for prayer for my dad again. he had surgery last month, and was plagued with problems related to atrial fibrillation that appears to be under control at this time.
however, he had extensive back surgery and now that he is home and receiving support/rehab from home health care, he is having such an extreme level of pain that they have few options available, and each of them have implications that can affect other concerns. because of pain and other issues, he has six doctor appointments in the next week, which is also very difficult. even getting around is painful and i am worried about him getting hurt further.
anyway, please pray that God would comfort and heal, and sustain his wife as well during this time as i am sure this all has been hard on her as well.
part of this difficulty is that my dad and his wife live across the country and the distance makes things harder.
finally, thanks in advance for your prayers. the fact that there are people here who care enough to set aside time to pray for those whom they don't even know is such a blessing to me and i want to say how much i appreciate those who have a heart to lift our brothers and sisters' and their loved ones up in prayer.
thanks so much,
