Hello everyone. My Mother who was an active, healthy and independent 72 year old woman before April of this year, is now disabled. She had a surgery go wrong, and then multiple cases of medical negligence afterwards. She almost died from a really bad staph infection. She is now needing a special brace on one leg, a walker, and more surgery to come. She is absolutely depressed and feeling so defeated because this happened to her. It's so hard seeing my mother go through this. I'm doing all I can to help her, but also have my own family and job to tend to daily. She does have home care visiting her once a day, but she is lonely a lot of the time. It's hard to get her in and out of the house because it takes a great deal of planning and effort, and multiple people to make sure she doesn't fall. She can't just get up and go anymore, can't drive her car. She's already survived so much in her life, but this has really taken a huge toll on her and has been going on since April. I wish I knew what else I could do for her. I'm so sad for her, too. Your prayers would be much appreciated. I know there's a lot going on in the world that's bigger than this problem, but this is what's plaguing me in my own little world. Thanks so much, God bless you all.

"Let us pray to know, poignant prayers for our loved ones are always in order.
Let us pray for her comfort and that our Lord's spirit is close by with hope and to bring
peace and well being and for all intended to come together with love, strength and courage
to be strong in knowing of God's inspirational love remains evermore, and good memories
help lighten burdens at hand."
'Amen'

You are very perceptive. Yes, it sure has. I'm super depressed about it. It's hard to work, hard to live my life - she doesn't mean to, but the guilt trips put on me daily are driving me crazy. I want to do more for her but I can't keep giving up hours and hours of my day when I have a husband, children, a business, pets and other commitments. It's not her fault, of course. But the situation is eating me alive.
