Hello, all.

Came to Christ about 3 years ago. Since then I have been under attack. I know God is strengthening my faith but it's hard to relate to people what is happening. I was told by some people at my church that I must be doing something wrong to deserve all the stuff happening.

Just this pass month I lost my job with no possibility to get unemployment. Sudden shootings in my neighborhood leading to the death of 3 young men and watching them take the dead body of a 19 year old kid was hard to take in. Not to mention I have to walk pass these crime scenes just to leave my house. I started to pray for this nieghborhood and all hell broke loose in my life. I haven't stopped praying and I won't!

I have had days were I am lifting my hands and worshipping Christ for the peace He has given me, a peace I have never had before. But then there are some days when I feel like my mind is playing tricks on me. I know it's the enemy telling me I won't have any way to pay my rent or your doing something wrong. Not living in sin, so Satan doesn't have a case against me. Every other day is a battle but I haven't stopped getting on my knees and seeking Him with my whole heart. I guess the enemy thinks he could just scare me away from my prayer life.

It hurts and I know it's ok to be vulnerable. Looking for any brothers or sisters that may understand and stand in agreement in prayer with me. I believe that I need some powerful prayer warriors. Don't pray God remove me from the situation unless that's His will, but pray that God give me peace and strength to endure. Thank you!

Hey,

I have prayed for you and will continue to pray for you as the Lord leads. Standing on
James 1:17 New International Version (NIV)
17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Matthew 7:11New International Version (NIV)
11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

I am believing God to send you a new and better job opportunity with provision to meet all your needs in the interim. God does not want us to live in suffering. He uses terrible circumstances to make everything beautiful in His time. But, heartache, suffering and hurt is not His ultimate goal. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Regarding what was said to you even if you did do something to cause some of your own ill fortune God is so good He comes to our rescue. God bless you as you continue to seek Him first.

John 12:25
Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

John 15:19
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

James 4:4
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

2 Corinthians 12:10
That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

1 Corinthians 4:11
Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place; [SUP]12 [/SUP]And labor, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: [SUP]13 [/SUP]Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the off scouring of all things unto this day. [SUP]14 [/SUP]I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you."

Matthew 5:3
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Luke 6:20
“Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. 21 Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh. 22 Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. 23 “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets. 24 “But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort. 25 Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep. 26 Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.

Matthew 10:22
You will be hated by everyone because of Me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Philippians 1:21
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 22 If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! 23 I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; 24 but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. 25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith

1 Thessalonians 3:7
Therefore, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith. 8 For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord.

That feeling that you don't belong in this world? It's because you don't belong to this world. The fact that you suffer in it says you must be doing something right. God says to persevere. Paul said he would. Shall we do any less?

matthew 18:19 " Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."

James 1:2-6 "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.5If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

God bless you !

Since then I have been under attack
Just proves what Jesus said in Mark 4:13-20 is true... no need to fear, Jesus is near so walk with Him knowing spiritual growth is happening and EXPECT Him to make a way for you.

Just this pass month I lost my job with no possibility to get unemployment
If it's true that there is no work for you, then Jesus done fell off His throne and He is powerless to to anything for anybody anymore... God's got a place for you to work, just stand in expectancy watching for His opportunity to come your way.

Jesus was not caught off guard and surprised when you lost the job... this ain't nuthin but a stepping stone to better things.

Sudden shootings in my neighborhood leading to the death of 3 young men and watching them take the dead body of a 19 year old kid was hard to take in.
If you do not learn how to cast your cares (worries, fears, anxieties) upon the Lord now... by spending much time thinking about, speaking, acting on His promises... things will continue to go downhill. In a war zone, others get taken out and those that are left cannot get down as this will cause more to be taken out, so learning how to cast your cares upon the Lord is very, very important in this time.

You may be new in the Lord but it's time to stand up and be the person you know deep down you are which is powerful in the Lord!

You do that by letting Him live in you instead of letting fear live in you... trade fear and worry for God's promises with the expectation that He will make a way for you.

But then there are some days when I feel like my mind is playing tricks on me
Nah, that's just the devil's propaganda... and his ganda ain't propa!

Stand on God's promises in His written Word whether you feel good or not... His Word changes things cause the person of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ is IN God's Word!

I know it's ok to be vulnerable
You are IN CHRIST... ain't nobody vulnerable IN CHRIST!

Just stand in your personal relationship with the Lord and grow in Him with consistency never quitting walking in divine rebellion in opposition to that which is in opposition to the Lord Jesus Christ.

You SHALL overcome because Jesus has ALREADY overcome and He is your victory over darkness.

Please Lord show Kundavis Your Magnificence and restore him from the bad events happening in his neighbourhood and hurting him, and provide him with a proper employment that makes him feel dignified, safe in Your Hands and assured. In Jesus's Mighty Name, Amen.

I know the feeling of loosing a job after 25 years of working for a company and coming home sitting down on the couch and asking God.... O.K. what do I do now? To be honest I freaked out for about a week and then became comfortable with the idea of retirement this happened when I was 58. I know you are much younger and will have to find work so my prayers are with you.

I also don't know why people always try to say you must be doing something wrong when things go bad as if God is trying to punish us for some reason. Look at Job in the Bible many things went wrong for him and it was because he was doing things right not wrong. He had a wonderful relationship with God but was a test subject of Satan to try and get Job to curse God and die to give up his relationship with God and Job's response was though He slay me yet will I trust Him.

So keep leaning on God and just know that you live in a world that is fallen into sin and bad things happen to good people and will continue to do so until Jesus comes and this world of sin is done away with forever and we are restored to the people and world that God intended at the beginning. Things will be so much better when our relationships and this world is back to it's original intent. Just keep holding onto God. Hugs to you and prayers.

Thank you, and amen brother.

Trials are a time of waiting, praying and waiting. I feel that no matter how many times I have gotten down on my knees to pray, it all comes down to faith in Christ. I know that He is able. The challenge is to overcome what we see with what we know. To walk by faith and not by sight.

i will add you to my daily prayers !

Amen, we are NOT of this world! Jesus went through the worse torment, because He is the King and not of this world. Tortured and He was innocent of any wrong doing, totally blameless. It is a beautiful thing to know that our Savior understands our pain more than anyone because He has been there Himself.

I do trust the Lord. Haven't given up on Him. I was just asking for prayer. Even Paul asked for prayer for strength. I'm not saying I don't trust God. I think I have made pretty clear that I do. I have been trusting Christ since being saved, some days better than others. What I have gone through would make a lot of people quit. But I got my knees in prayer standing on God's word memorizing scripture to fight off the enemy all out of FAITH. This is no cake walk but I have walked it. I was hesitant to post this bcuz people will say I'm not believing enough. I just want prayer from other saints. You notice that I don't ask God to remove me, I asked that you all would pray that God strengthen me. Just like Paul asked the other believers to pray God give him strength in trials. Please pray for your sister in Christ, everyone needs prayer. I know I have a strong faith in God but I am not above asking for prayer.

Just proves what Jesus said in Mark 4:13-20 is true... no need to fear, Jesus is near so walk with Him knowing spiritual growth is happening and EXPECT Him to make a way for you.

Yes, amen!

Wow, 25 years!

God knows the comfort that comes from sharing with each other our struggles.

Though He slay me yet will I trust Him, so true.

Thank you!

It is good for me that I was afflicted, That I may learn Your statutes. Psalms 119:71

The same thing happen to me in 2005 as the manufacturing plant I had worked in for years closed. I have certainly prayed for you for God to provide suitable employment. I have also prayed for God to search for a safer neighborhood for you to live. The people in church who told you that you must have done something wrong to lose your job were wrong and very insensitive. Tell them to read the book of Job, his friends thought that he had go have been in the wrong also. God Bless You.
