    Everyone means well, but one can be exposed to far too much u tube and other
    "entertainment" outlets that can cause distorted truth. Focus on the wisdom of
    the Divine teachings, especially ones that you relate to in your life.

    thank you ... was there anything i should be concerned with that you see? or just in general guarding my heart? I am trying to constantly though and going back to scripture :) God has helped me a lot more than i realize but i have a long way to go still

    You feel that the LORD is distant, but he is nigh those who have a broken heart, Psalm 34:18, and those who call upon him in truth, Psalm 145:18. This certainly seems to describe you. I will pray that God makes his presence tangibly known to you. Stay encouraged. God will see you through.

    I still cant see your profile unfortunatly but i will still check in. I would hate to lose contact, it was really nice meeting someone just as open with a solid foundation in Christ. But no matter what happens i have you on my prayer list.

    Daily reading (I read Isaiah 26)
    the highlighted thought was v10 evil people will not learn to do good even if you show kindness. I often feel hurt or bitter because I show kindness and don't understand when it is thrown back. But I am learning through this that, Kindness is unto God and for my soul not the wicked. I will still show kindness, but now I do not have to be disappointed.

    I think that you should listen to this sermon before listening to the other sermon that I gave you a link to on the "Grieving" thread. I had heard it before, because I needed it for myself, and I listened to it again this morning. I honestly believe that you will see your entire life from a different perspective after listening to it yourself.​
