    I'm posssessed

No your not. With all love and concern, you are not possessed, at least not in the traditional Christian sense. Opaque maybe.... Welcome to CC, I look forward to hearing more from you.

    Omitted verses.

As I have mentioned before the KJV is my first book of reference, but even so I rely on none of the Second Testament translations to determine validity. For that test I find it necessary to reference the question against the First Testament. An example of a controversial passage is John...

    Village of Being

I'm not surprised, my brain is a little off-kilter... The "Laz" was meant to reference Lazareth, the poor beggar identified in Luke 16:20 while "D'Allmon" was a little homage to Charles Dickens and his character "Marquis St. Evrémonde". In this case Laz being a reference to "All Men". Thank...

    Village of Being

A Father called to his son, “Go to the village, to the home of Laz D’Allmon And give him some fuel, For I hear he has been cold.” The son went to D’Allmon and spoke these words, “My father has heard your pleas, In his grace he wishes you well.” He gave him the fuel for his stove. D’Allmon was...

    Radio Theater

Just a note....the Focus on the Family presentation is not the John Cleese version. Both are excellent but the FOTF version is much more dramatic with different voices, audio enhancements and sound effects. I think it can hold a groups interest better.

The Flower by His Dark Path

"But silence can be a ravaging worm That feeds on wounds at their sorest" Sad words, but also true..... Great work!

In the Millennium age, no more pharmaceutical companies, no more landlords or corporate greed.

Revelation 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

    Radio Theater

Focus on the Family has a series of radio theater productions available. I have used their production of The Screwtape Letters in small group presentations and found them to be first-rate. The good thing with Scewtape is you can easily pick-and-choose topics (Letters) to fit your topics and...

    Father of Lies

John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Just to be clear.....

    Christian Struggles

Welcome to CC Moriah-Bell. Struggles are difficult to bear and I will pray for you. In my experience we eventually find unexpected blessings in those struggles. I think every Christian secretly wishes for the day of redemption. I remember what happened on Mt. Moriah. Abraham's faith was...

    Father of Lies

If I surrender my point with the "but" in the KJV (which I am still unwilling to do), does that negate all the other quotes? I am a long way from being convinced my conclusions of an intentional disconnect or division are incorrect. I do agree on the importance of checking the original...

First Thread: ☕🙂👍📖 Should the Bible Be the Text Book?

The important issue for me is to teach the WHOLE Bible, not just the parts that support doctrine. I find very little of that happening today and it frightens me.

    Father of Lies

Yup.....I use both constantly along with a interlinear Greek and Hebrew translations.

    Father of Lies

The KJV is my reference of choice but ultimately I must go back to the First Testament for my final word. But that's just me!
