    Handwriting Of Ordinances

Yes, that's interesting when some groups try to push the law of Moses onto Moses. As if they were his laws. Moses was a prophet. God gave him the laws to write down. The term the law of Moses refers to all five books of the law. But they are still God's laws, not Moses' laws.

    Handwriting Of Ordinances

The NIV translation makes it clearer. It says, "our legal indebtedness". Basically, the condemnation of the law toward us. Colossians 2:14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross...

Accurately handling what rightly dividing means.

Right. And frankly, the NT didn't even exist at the time this scripture was written. To what was the writer referring? What was "the word of truth" at that time? It may have included more than just the existing OT. Perhaps the whole message of the gospel that they were entrusted with. No...

Accurately handling what rightly dividing means.

My pet peeve is when people use the Bible to give their own ideas biblical authority. It usually begins with, "God's word says..." and then you get their twisted opinion, which typically has little or nothing to do with the misused scripture. Thus wrongly handling...

Accurately handling what rightly dividing means.

Do you mean handling what rightly divided means accurately, or accurately dividing what rightly handling means? Or how do you divide accurately what rightly handling means? Divided rightly means accurately handling, right? Shouldn't we learn to rightly add and subtract before we rightly...

Why was Cain's offering rejected by God?

Yes, we really don't know how all that worked. It seems to me that Moses may have written the first five books in somewhat reverse order. Recording events he was wirness too first and the law God was giving to the Israelites through him. Then Exodus and finally Genesis as the last to be...

There's a topic. I love the unanswered question in Gen.3. "Who told you that you were naked?" (something to that effect) Indeed. Who did tell Adam that he was naked? At the end of Gen.3 they were naked an unashamed.

You are scratching at straws. Can you make a solid statement directly from the text? What do we know for sure based on the text?
