What does that simple question reveal?

1 John 3:2 ???? In other words you think "the perfect" is Christ? 2Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears,a we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is.

What does that simple question reveal?

It's a process of logic and logical events as they unfold naturally. It's not dedcribed as a process a anywhere but it naturally occurs as one. It starts with belief which initiates faith. That's simple and can be readily determined by a casual reading of scripture. Belief and faith are...

question: Can an unsaved person be baptized in the Holy Spirit?

You're out to lunch and the bible clearly and unequivocally refutes such nonsensical views as yours sbd others that baptism is unimportant, not relevant to salvation or remission of sins, or means of entry to the body of Christ, is for a "public statement", blah, blah, blah. Goodbye 👋

question: Can an unsaved person be baptized in the Holy Spirit?

Scripture does not contradict itself. You cannot take a scripture and extract it on a stand-alone basis while ignoring other scriptures on the same subject that say something more or a bit different, and base your belief system on it. If you do, that's pretty dumb, dangerous, and makes zero sense.

question: Can an unsaved person be baptized in the Holy Spirit?

The earliest record of baptism in the NT is the baptism of John. It was the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. Was it in the spirit or in water? It was water baptism, and in the Jordan River. This is identical to the baptism recorded in Acts 2:38 except it was in the name of Jesus...

What does that simple question reveal?

The problem I see with the whole charismatic/Pentecostal movement is that the scriptures don't support it in today's church, and that it was limited in duration for specific reasons relative to the early church. It, the "gifts of the Spirit," or more appropriately termed, manifestations of the...

question: Can an unsaved person be baptized in the Holy Spirit?

I have nothing to prove and your nonsense is not worth my time to refute. The clear words of the bible is quite sufficient. I don't offer opinions just scripture. Peter says it quite well. Baptism saves us! 1st Peter 3:21 21The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the...

question: Can an unsaved person be baptized in the Holy Spirit?

I am careful. I tell them the truth and let the scriptures speak for themselves. You cited many things, erroneously however. Baptism is not a work. It's a command that must be obeyed. Mk 16:15-16 15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature...

question: Can an unsaved person be baptized in the Holy Spirit?

The miraculous manifestations of the Spirit were the result of the laying on of the apostle's hands, and they're dead. The gifts served a purpose in biblical times but no longer are required.

question: Can an unsaved person be baptized in the Holy Spirit?

Peter says baptism saved us. 1 Peter 3:21, so, you're not correct. Also, nowhere in the bible does it describe baptism nor its reason as you have. It is an outward expression of nothing, but rather a command that must be obeyed in order to secure our salvation. The Ethiopian eunuch was with...

    We Are God's Children

This phrase is often misquoted or misapplied to mean that everyone, all living people are God's children which is incorrect according to scripture. Those that believe and have become his by obedience to the gospel, become children of God, not all humanity.

    Pre-Destination, God's Foreknowledge and Choice

God Is A Spirit: And They That Worship Him Must Worship Him In Spirit And In Truth.

God is Spirit not a spirit. Your posting of the 1st scripture has it right which differs from your post title. They are not interchangeable. Translations such as the kjv say "God is a spirit" however the original Greek interlinear simply says "God is spirit". There is a difference.
