    The Sound of Freedom Movie

Meanwhile, we ignore the private lives of every other actor in Hollywood. This movie was well done and there is nothing wrong with it. Go see it and support it because it is instrumental in shutting down child trafficking.

    The Sound of Freedom Movie

The movie does not show actual sexual abuse, but it is still troubling to see kids kidnapped and treated worse than livestock. I think we need to support this movie so steps can be taken to end this terrible practice. I am glad I went to see it. I did not realize how big human trafficking has...

    The Sound of Freedom Movie

We saw it last night. It was very well done! It is based on a true story of how these children were freed from trafficking.

10 Warning Signs of Cult Recruitment

Well, yes I have read about cults that misused the Bible (and I refuse to call them “Christian”). There was one in Minnesota not that far from me. See https://www.thecut.com/2016/06/pine-county-minnesota-sex-offender-victor-barnard.html. But these are the extreme minority and I never encountered...

10 Warning Signs of Cult Recruitment

I think the closest thing to a cult I ever witnessed were those in the Bill Gothard Advanced Training Institute. But even those members were free to leave (and my friends did). For the children of the members, it was like a cult, but parental control is not a cult.

10 Warning Signs of Cult Recruitment

I think the average Born-Again believer experiences some aspects of nearly ALL 10 of these things. Yet, in all my life and 36+ years as a believer, I have never met one other Christian believer that was entrapped in a cult.

10 Warning Signs of Cult Recruitment

I think we use the word “cult” a bit more broadly than we should. A true cult is where you are controlled physically and mentally. Jonestown is an example, albeit a very extreme one where physical force is used. I believe the Muslim religion, as practiced in some parts of the world is as well...

I find it hard to go back to Church, here's why...

I think it is time to stop looking at everyone around you and instead focus on the Word of God, and what it is saying to you specifically. And pray that God would reveal His message to you. There has always been hypocrisy among church-goers and synagogue-goers as we read about it in the Gospels.

I find it hard to go back to Church, here's why...

Perhaps start with some sort of fellowship like a Bible study. After you get to know some folks, you might want to check out their church.

    Your take on Classical

Classical, in its purest form is a thing of beauty, much like a beautiful painting or fantastic sunset. I believe it is a distant reflection of God’s beauty, order, and design. All people are naturally drawn to things like beautiful sunsets because they reflect that beauty and design. Nobody has...

Has the Church Helped in Teaching Sexual Purity?

Yes, but we could at least keep it away from children with a little effort. Now, it is so easy to access. It is like having a dirty book store in your child’s closet. We have lost all sense of modesty and this has no doubt led to the sexual deviancy movement that is in full swing. There are...

Has the Church Helped in Teaching Sexual Purity?

The elephant in the room that no one talks about is pornography, especially the very vile type that the average 12 year old can access on their Smart phone. (And in my opinion, Smart phones are destroying our youth!) But it does not even have to be that type of pornography, but just the...

IS IT OBLIGATORY FOR CHRISTIANS TO BE GOING TO CHURCH?

I guess there is a lot left for interpretation here. We don’t lose our salvation by not attending church, nor do we get it by attending. I would hope we all agree on that. But it probably will be a very frustrating unfruitful walk if we have no fellowship. And I would even dare to say that if...

Can i find a partner frfr on here ?

I think you need to get to know people in-person in group settings at church or in other Christian groups if you are looking for a potential wife. People need to get to know you and you need to get to know (and trust) them. I would not want my daughter forming a relationship via the internet...

IS IT OBLIGATORY FOR CHRISTIANS TO BE GOING TO CHURCH?

I don’t think it is required, but it is very beneficial, as some have pointed out. And it could be a home church too. And the other 6 days are just as important, if not more so! A related question: Do we have to be official members? Or just committed attendees?

    Distractions

I can tolerate some nationalism a lot more than I can tolerate liberalism among those calling themselves Christians. It gets me a bit upset when I see some constantly getting on the case of “conservative“ Christians and the candidates they support yet never making a peep about the candidates...

Is it possible and safe for Africans to try out earning an income through affiliate marketing?

EDITED There was a time about 20 yrs ago when affiliate marketing could make you over $3000 a month. I did it myself. You set up websites that had useful content, posted links to related products, and made a commission if a product was sold. But in this day, it is much more difficult. When...

IF YOU TOOK THE SHOT YOU HAVE GENETICALLY CHANGED YOU BODY FOREVER

I think the primary motive by the big pharmaceuticals was money, and a LOT was made. There is good reason to be wary of the safety - have you ever heard of the Bextra case where Pfizer pushed a pain reliever for non-targeted use and caused a lot of harm (and was fined billions)! See...

DO YOU BELIEVE IN SPEAKING IN TONGUE'S ?

I am not ready to dismiss these and other "supernatural" gifts of the Spirit, as some of my Cessationist friends have. But at the same time, they are sacred and should be treated as such, not to be falsely displayed. I listened to a series on YouTube that I found to be a good take on this from...
