    Religion is a Mess.

Don't attempt to twist my words. I will not be party to a debate.

I know some of what Muslims believe but not enough to follow them. For me the Treatment of Jesus (Isa) by them is incomplete. I will leave that to God. I wonder how they fit with Rev. 7:9?

    Religion is a Mess.

God is the Judge. That is not my right. I "think" that in the last part of Revelations, all stand before God and are Judged. "All Nations and Kindreds, I think. It doesn't say a thing about Baptists or Lutherans so forth.

There is little chance that I will be in lock step with you, though I largely support you. There were things thrust upon me that were sin. I repented as much as possible, and am forgiven. I don't relate my story to others any more. God forgives but others don't. Amen

It is just the Shia's beliefs. I think in the end they think all religions will be gone and we will all worship one God. Islam will be gone then also. The various denominations are false. The Mormons are pretty exclusivismistic

I don't recall seeing those stipulations in the Bible "I see it differently, when Jesus fed the 5, 000" men [+wimmin and kids = 20, 000 +] He had them sit down in companies of 50. I think that is how God likes it, everyone can find a family. God wants us in a family.

I'm not an expert but for my own sanity I use only the KJV (Original). Not saying it is perfect, but one version confuses me less.

Hmmm Shia Muslims believe that God (Allah) is sending prophets and Jesus (Isa) will one day join them. Not trying to make Muslim converts, just stating their beliefs. The Mormons see their President as a Prophet also.

Does The Book of Revelation Frighten You/

I just don't see good theology for the Rapture.

Thank you for refreshing my memory on that point.

    Religion is a Mess.

I'm a bit odd, I will admit. I see one GOD and Jesus and the Holy Spirit as separate but not worth a disagreement over. The Mormons have been sweet and kind to me but seem to place the Book of Mormon over the Bible. Some Mormons I have met know their BOM very well but they have not studied the...

    Religion is a Mess.

In the Christian Denominations there is so much variance in belief especially when we all use Bibles that are similar. In my wanderings, Judaism and Islam seem the same way, with so much difference in their beliefs. Thinking about all Nations and Kindreds worshiping before God. I wonder how he...

I view the Rapture with a jaundiced eye.

    Where did Humanity begin?

According to Academics Homo Sapiens eventually came from "Lucy" in central Africa, and then somehow multiplied over in present day China. According to scripture it all began down in present day southern Iraq, or with the Persian Zoroastrians with activity eventually moving to the Levant. I...

    Studying The Bible

After thinking about Rev. 7:9 for a while, Perhaps it is time that I read the Letter again. Perhaps Isaiah also to get a clearer picture? I have probably mentioned that I tried to be Muslim for a decade but true knowledge of God and Jesus would not cease. I am not going into the whole story, but...

Thank you. Perhaps I cause my own pain because I try to understand Jews and Muslims also.

I was joking. Yonks is a UK term that I have read them to use. It simply means a long time.

Are you making fun of me? I "was saved" in April of 1974. The Christian walk is not easy and I have had my ups and downs.

    Studying The Bible

The first time I read the KJV Bible cover to cover, as I said, I had no religious training. It was just this book that sat on the shelf and I had no idea where it came from. Parts of it were too much of a trudge, Leviticus for example. The reading did get me interested, so later I was very...

    Studying The Bible

Yonks ago, I sat down and tried to read the entire KJV as a book. Having had almost no religious training, it was so precious to me. The second time around, I had decided that Jesus the Christ was what most American culture said he was. Oddly, I almost disliked the NT after the book of Acts...
