Gods will vs mans free will

Yes, I believe that you are right, in that, those that Christ died for on the cross have eternal and everlasting life in heaven, but that was God's choice, and not our choice. Choosing life here on earth is a choice that is made by only those that have been born again.

Gods will vs mans free will

Eternal salvation was accomplished on the cross, by the sacrifice of Christ, for all of those that his Father gave him. Jesus's sacrifice was an offering to God, for God's acceptance, and not to mankind for their acceptance. God has given mankind the freedom to choose how he wants to live his...

Gods will vs mans free will

Death, according to Strong's concordance is "a separation". The life, in Duet 30:19, is not referencing eternal life, but abundant life of joy and peace that his children can have if they choose to follow his commandments. If they choose death, they will separate themselves from God's...

Gods will vs mans free will

The life that God wants us to choose is not eternal life, which Christ has already accomplished on the cross for those that God gave him, but is that good and abundant life of peace, joy and contentment as we sojourn here on earth. This life can only be chosen by those who have been born again.

    The 'ELECT' vs 'Free-Choice'

Nicodemus was of the elect of Jacob/Israel, believing in God, but not according to knowledge depending upon the old letter of the law to deliver him the same as those that Paul was praying for in Romans 10:1-3. This was God's elect people of Jacob, surnamed Israel back in the book of numbers...

The people who you say are more knowledgeable than anyone in this forum, stay away from. Prov 3:5 - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. Ok then, explain to me how the natural man becomes regenerate. Ephesians 2:1-5 plainly explains that the natural man had no choice in his regeneration.

    Salvation is a Free Gift.

Keep it in context. In Rom 8: 30, If Jesus is what Paul and Peter are talking about, then why do they use the word "them" three tines in this verse? It is the same "them" that is in Rom 8:1, who are them which are in Christ Jesus.

    Salvation is a Free Gift.

I think you know that I agree with brightflame52 in his post 612 where he says the natural man, before he has been born again, can hear, but cannot discern what is said, and thinks it to be foolishness.

    God won't violate man's will?

Spiritual faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. We do not have spiritual faith until we are quickened (born again) with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The natural man, before he has been born again, cannot receive the things of the Spirit.
