DCon fights on behalf of righteousness. He’s no nonsense, straightforward and aggressive, but make no mistake, he does it out of love. We see throughout Scripture Jesus does the same.
I never said any aspect of charismatic theology makes me feel comfortable or uncomfortable. UWC is staunchly grounded in his views so I asked him why he did not like charismatics.
He despises charismatics in the same way I despise Calvinism. The bottom line is, Jesus Christ is my Lord and...
I was born and raised in the PCUSA denomination but attended a Reformed seminary. PCUSA, Reformed, Lutheran and one other denomination accept one another’s ordained ministers therefore those seminaries have a multitude of students from various backgrounds.
You’re being too kind by referring to them as heretical. They’re borderline demonic. Upon graduating from NBTS, I told the person in charge of seeking donations from alumni to save his stamp because that godforsaken institution will never receive a penny from me.
Where were you twenty years ago? You could have saved me $20,000. 😆
Where I went to seminary they told us to put our Bibles away because we won’t have time to read them as a student. Pretty pathetic.
@dcontroversal on the other hand where he attended did a study/overview of the Bible two times...
Good question. The funny and sad part of it all is that the person who’s doing this believes himself to be saved because he’s Catholic and all of us are doomed heretics.
Unfortunately I attended NBTS, a liberal Reformed seminary, not knowing such godlessness and decadence existed in so called holy institutions.
I left the PCUSA because of their unbelievable falling away from God’s Word. I refused to set aside my integrity in order to be ordained by them.
