    Loss of salvation???

I look at it like a non-refundable one-way ticket issued by the King of the Universe. It’s just that some folks would rather book their own travels.

    Loss of salvation???

I hope you are able to think and act perfectly, because that is God’s standard, and you seem to prefer justice to mercy.

    Loss of salvation???

Figuratively for lost, perished, given up as dead, e.g., the prodigal son (Lk 15:24,32). Equal to apolōlṓs from apóllumi (622), to perish, lose. Also, wouldn’t that dispute the Hebrews verses many like to quote. They say that once lost that they can never return.

    Loss of salvation???

WE are not to judge those outside the Church, but Scripture says we are indeed to address issues within our ranks. If you feel I have judged you, then the verse I posted is doing its job. I beg you to reconsider your low view of the Scriptures.

    Loss of salvation???

I am sorry you feel that Paul is someone you can’t trust. I have met others with views similar to yours about Paul. Their lives didn’t end well. I am an old guy who spent years digging into the Scriptures, and I see no difference in what Paul preaches, only his audience and his idiocentric, at...

    Loss of salvation???

Do you disregard Peter’s words about Paul’s writings? 2 Peter 3:15Consider also that our Lord’s patience brings salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom God gave him. 16He writes this way in all his letters, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of...

Saul of Tarsus was not saved on the road to Damascus.

I see all the talk about baptizing, but no one talks about the details of a proper baptism. I think the Jews believed that the water one was dipped in must be “Living Water.” Water that occured in nature that moved with a current. They built their mikvah’s into two parts with a plug in between...

    Philippians: Paul's "Stairway to Heaven"?

I have a study on the book of James by Spiros Zodhiates where he states in the preface that he expected the study from the original Greek to take only a few months. He said it took him three years, and changed his life. I think most any part of Scripture has the ability to change our way of...

Is it God or the Devil?

The book of Job demonstrates that Satan is limited by God. If God allows suffering to come upon a Christian, it is to teach a valuable lesson, and to rearrange one’s priorities.

    Does thought(s) actually control us

I found myself in SE Asia during the good ole days of ree-to-reel recordings. There was free reels of music to be listened to at a small building on base. Someone told me i should check out a song by the Funkadelics. It had a risqué title that i shall slightly alter. “Free your mind, and your...

    One Baptism

Luke 3:3-6. John's message was a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. John's baptism was associated with repentance, that is, it outwardly pictured an inner change of heart. The word “for” (eis) refers back to the whole “baptism of repentance.” The baptism did not save anyone, as...

    How do you get saved?

The Pharisees had all the outward appearances of devout followers of God. They knew the OT better than any here, yet their heart’s were not right.
