Yes thank you. I was waiting for someone to say this. It seems to be a fairly popular idea in this site that you do not choose to follow God, and that ultimately it is God who chooses you. Aka Calvinism (dun dun DUUUUN). I seriously don’t know why people don’t think they have free will.

You do reap what you sow. But what I want to know, is what in Gods name did the Jews sow to reap something as horrible as the holocaust.

The reason he lost faith is because of his experiences. He experienced horrible things. Who knows, maybe years and years after he got freed he started to pounder on his past faith and reconsider. But there was a time where his Faith wavered and he stopped believing.

There are multiple definitions of sin, and I don’t really mind how anyone puts it, but bottem line we can all agree that sin is simply disobedience to God. That’s it. Simple.
