    Another Realm?

Well, they're both real. Only one realm is eternal, though. Like our citizenship: we are, like Paul, citizens of a particular country AND citizens of the dwelling place of God. Only one is eternal so, when we have a choice, we should invest in the eternal one. :)

    Another Realm?

I see that. We also know that the deep calls unto deep. (Psalm 42:7) If the deep are "waters" then they must be analogous to the Word. From God's point of view He knows the end from the beginning. His Word or the Deep contains the totality of what He plans to do in time and space. When He...

    Mephibosheth and Ziba

Yes. The last thing Meph said to the king was "Rather, let him (Ziba) take it (the inheritance) all, inasmuch as my lord the king has come back in peace to his own house.” In this verse: "Now Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king. And he had not cared for his feet, nor...

The Five Baptisms of the New Testament

John was the son the the High priest (a Levite) who had taken the vow of the Nazarite. He was, in effect, a super-priest (if you will). Jesus was the Lamb of God. Under the law, all sacrifices needed to be washed and checked for blemishes by the priests before they are offered to God. When...

    Another Realm?

@Unknown What you're calling a "Dream Realm" is actually the Eternal Realm. However, my guess is you are invested in fantasy, so the idea of a "Dream Realm" appeals to you. We could simply use the words from the scriptures to come to the same conclusion. To people, an allegory of a realm...

Did Jesus save those who ultimately hated Him?

Aw. You're sweet. No, you're saying, by believing Hell and sinners suffer forever in the Lake of Fire, that God is in THEM. These are the conditions of the end of the age: This is in 1 Corinthians 15 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. This is just...

Did Jesus save those who ultimately hated Him?

So, when God is "All in all" He is in the sinners and demons being forever tormented. Got it. Good luck with that, Sparky. (y)

Did Jesus save those who ultimately hated Him?

Death and Hell are spirits whose regions of authority bear their names. They are not eternal: they have a beginning and meet their end when thrown into the lake of fire. All whose names are not written in the Lamb’s book of life meet the same fate.

Is it still worth following Jesus...

John 14:1-5 is often read a funerals. I believe this practice misses the meaning of the scripture. John 14:2-6 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and...

Did Jesus save those who ultimately hated Him?

Son, you don't understand "hate" or the gospel. Do you have any questions?

Did Jesus save those who ultimately hated Him?

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

    Antichrist

It’s the same reference: as He is coming to the earth we who are alive are changed and then are gathered to Him in the air. This is the rapture. If you believe you go to heaven upon being raptured you’ll be disappointed: you’ll be where the Lord is. The antecedent of this event is the rending...

    Antichrist

Paul wrote: “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Now "hope" is not "wish". It is not wishing for something to materialize. Hope is the expectation that what is promised will appear. Hope is...

What is the name of Jesus Christ?

This is royal, legally binding language. It’s like “Stop! In the name of the law.” Here, “name” infers all the authority within the stated institution: the law. Transaction between rulers were often prompted by “the name of the king”. So, in the citations above, “name” refers to His authority.

Husbands can lift a bigger rock than wives can

I was speaking to a young woman regarding authority. She had military experience. As a woman in service she went through all kinds of garbage for simply being female. The word "authority" was a pejorative, and a sound to immediately defend oneself. I had her consider that, for the U.S...

    Show me the Father

Yeah, when all authority is given to you in heaven and in earth, really, what can prevent your dominion? Consider that heaven was also created so it is not eternal. Before creation, God was, the Word was, and the Spirit was. Heaven was required only "in the beginning" where "the...
