I think if your post had said something like....

"It's inconvenient to have to click a link to see all the likes, can we fix that?"

Many would have gotten the point.

But your issue with having to click a link to see all of the likes was supplemented with discussion of "new world order thinking", "faith in Christ thinking", "ungodly practice".

So some may have seen said annoyance, supplemented with said discussion topics, and thought..."What's this fella gettin at?"

Just my theory. :p
Well - I did explicitly indicate that it was a 'rant'... ;)

Your point is well taken. ("Truly, I mean it sincerely.")

"It's inconvenient to have to click a link to see all the likes, can we fix that?" :)

Please? :D

Ok, even the debate over this thread is getting confusing, lets simplify things... GRA, this is your original post. Confusing, quite angry, and very unclear... It looks more like a collection of quotes from other people than one person expressing his opinion. At least that's what i thought it was when i first read it. Multiple fonts, colors and sizes makes it very confusing.

Why in the world is there even a link in the "people who like" list in a post?????????????????????????

The list "wraps", doesn't it?

(...and # others like this.)

And, if it just has to be  - why only three people listed - and then you have to click the link to "open up" the list of [as little as] one more name? Why not have the first 7 or 10 people listed initially? You could at least have 5! There is room for them. But, three???

"This is totally and utterly 'stupid' and 'useless'..."

I am "utterly sick" of the whole world being caught up in the idea that:

"We want to know every little nuance about people's choices - so we are going to make them 'click click click click click' every little [unnecessary] thing so we can collect and know this information..."

("Have you ever noticed this, out on the internet?")

This is "New World Order" thinking - not "Faith in Christ" thinking.

As Christians - are we going to let ourselves get caught up in this ungodly practice? Or, should we be willing to trust our brethren as far as allowing them the benefit of what is 'natural' and 'expedient' and 'convenient' (for everyone's sake)??? And, don't we want this site to "operate" as efficiently as possible for the membership?

And don't go quoting me scripture. There is nothing wrong with 'natural' and 'expedient' and 'convenient' when it is conducive to a more peaceful frame of mind.

There is no reason in the entire universe why anyone should have to click a link to see the rest of the names in the list...

(Especially for just one more name.)

The absence of subconscious 'kaos' is worth-while in-of-itself.

I have no problem whatsoever with having the 'like' list in the post, however:

The full list should be displayed initially, without a link at all - even if there are 100 names in it.

/rant over.

:)

.
Now, this is probably a better way to have made this post ...

''Hey guys, you know how when a specific post gets a like, it names the person who liked it. But when you get more than 3 likes, it only lists the first three names then you have to click on it to see the rest? I find this rather annoying and wish they would make it so you don't have to click on it to see all the names. It seems like a bit of a waste of time to have to do that to see who's on there. Anyone else feel the same way?''

Lets go through a few differences between your post and my example:
1 - Its clearly my own thought, and not what appears to be a collection of others quotes.
2 - One color.
3 - One paragraph for a small explanation.
4 - Straight to the point.
5 - No unrelated, far fetched psuedo-spiritual, Illuminati accusations.
6 - No excessively long.
7 - Not unduly angry.

Seeing the difference now?

Nasty. How so? Its kept separate inside the jar. Only reason it wasn't that good is because the quality of the ingredients.

I did try! We should never try to express our self while filled with an emotion such as anger or even rage. I've done it in a thread and on the mic. It didn't turn out good. Fueled with any type of emotion which is visible sometimes lead to a hostel conversation.

Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” (Genesis 4:6-7)

A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger. (Proverbs 15...)

That is an abomination....clearly a sign of the end times. Probably a plauge in one of those jars.
Just so my post is not misunderstood, I'm not advertising this "stuff" but rather it is more of a response to djness post about abominations. I, myself, LOOOOOOVVVVVE... PEANUT...butter. But if you want to talk about abominations I'd suggest you take a look at this.
