clary...have you ever had this struggle? do you know what you are saying to those who do? This girl is saying she has struggled and fell 3 weeks ago. I can understand not drinking or sleeping with everyone he or she see's but homosexuality goes so deep.

no i have not struggled with being gay, but i have struggled with sexual imoral acts and the girl i put up from youtube does struggle with it, what do you want to do, tell her it's ok Jesus understands, as if he's ok with it, no sorry i cant do that, it's sin, but i can tell her that you can overcome, it can be done, but you must love Jesus more then your sin, the bible is very clear no sexually imoral person will go to heaven and i was a very sexaully immoaral person, and people telling me we all sin Jesus will forgive you as if i did not have to stop did not get me to stop, only the understanding that Jesus hated my sin and would send me the hell for it, Jesus loves us and dont want to so we must stop living in sin, show me one versethat says sinners dont have to repent

no im not. but the word of God does,Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.1corinthians6:18,Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous hebrews 13:4 .....(everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.)EPHIANS 5:5 i can go on but i think thats clear, i dont say this to bet down but it seems that people want to act like God ujnderstands and will look passed it, HE WONT!!!! but therres good news..... If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 john 1:9

I respect that you disagree. I don't eliminate scripture, just use my heart and the heart of Christ as my guide as Jesus taught. Not eye for an eye as was the law in the Torah but turning the other cheek. Paul was clearly influenced as a converted Hebrew. When he persecuted Christians before his conversion, he was sure it was God's will according to the Torah. His letters demonstrate his cultural influence through his intolerance and sometimes, lack of understanding along with his wisdom and valuable teaching. When reading it I know in my heart as sure as I know Love, Peace and Compassion alone is what the Prince of Peace wants me to spread, that profits are human, have opinions and are influenced by the cultures and times in which they lived, which often hated those different from themselves. Just because words are inspired doesn't mean they're perfect. Fundamentalist Christians have held on to the vestiges of ancient Judaism and the old Covenant, the idea that while the writers of the bible were only human like us, somehow there words were perfect...the antithesis of what Christ's life exemplified, the fear that if they don't obey the letter of the law, they will burn in hell, the failure to remember that the holy spirit lives within them and all they have to do is know that, be aware of it and God's love can flow.

but all scripture is God breathed so if it isn't perfect then God is a liar or at the very least can be wrong. but sin is sin. Christ has set us free from sin by dieing on the cross for us and becoming sin in our place. any of those who have broken the law are under the punishment for breaking the law but Christ took that punishment for those who would believe in him and follow him as Lord.

God's breath is within you and I as Christ came to teach us through Jesus...does that make us perfect? Why do contemparary Christians tend to pick and choose which laws should no longer apply, while others, completely twisting the true intent of the law according to the time and the culture in which it was written, should be enforced without mercy?

ma'am who is the Christ? and yes it was the law of the land according to God for Israel. but you skipped over that scripture procedes from God. And there is confusion on which laws have are to be followed and which are not but also remember we do not follow the law to be saved we follow it because we are saved.

Christ...the anointing...the Holy Spirit. Jesus of Nazereth was known after his anointing as Jesus Christ...anointed by the Christ...the holy Spirit. And as Christ wrote the law of God in my heart as Jesus promised I follow that law, Love, peace, compassion...nothing else. Judging loving relationships as evil is not in my heart. Anything that causes pain and suffering is evil. Telling someone there love is an abomination causes real pain, real harm. Watching teens from Christian families commit suicide because the law there parents cling to is more important than they are is not the way of Christ. God is empathic, loving, much of the bible is not. The bible is the word of(about) God not God.
They see you trollin'...they hatin'? A gentle, loving statement there...Nah, not me. I truly can say I don't hate anyone. Which way will God unite with us in the end? Word? Deed? Neither. A sincere and contrite Heart. We plainly disagree and I respect your right to believe I'll burn in hell, if you do. I've never said I hated you or was disgusted but there will be no compromise on this and of course we can still find some common ground. The picture is a joke it's just funny not a serious statement. Dont base your faith upon the works and words of people but on the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Find out what God thinks about things. You were not born gay something along the way has gone wrong. It is not what God has said should be our natural course. God is not a killjoy who is out to just ruin everyones fun. There are great reasons why God has spoken against homosexuality..because of its destruction in a persons life. God laid out His plan creating male and female to join together and multiply. going beyond this is where troubles begin. I certainly dont hate you, i hate the destruction i know comes through sin..nobody is without struggles and failures...it is amazing grace that God should reach down to me a sinner and enemy of God...I have no reason to doubt your heart for the Lord, just know that God can lead you out and free you from this struggle..there is hope of a better life..more pleasing to Him..i pray that for all of us who believe...God says come as you are there is nothing you can offer up..come empty handed, cause we are empty handed and shouldnt think we could be righteous enough to save ourselves.. Did not Jesus himself stop the men from casting the stones at the adulterous woman. "You who have not sinned throw the first stone" If your gonna cast stones at her, be prepared for the stones of your sins to be cast at you. It's really sad, Jesus says deal with these things out of love, the love of Christ can pull people out of sin. Not the condemnation. God's love is unconditional, which means that even though we screw up, he still loves us, and the words that you speak of right now, those are not words of love.
