Who said the law has been abolished? Scripture reveals that it has been fullfilled by Christ.

I actually started and when I pointed out you were not understanding the op, you got in a huff and basically told me

if we are to no longer keep the Law, then we do not need a savior to pay for our sins --
you can not have it both ways.
either we must repent from sinning and sin no more or there is no more sin to repent of.
2 plus 2 must = 4

I keep it much better than I did 60 years ago -- still not perfect but no longer need to repent 360 times or more a day.

here is something to think about, if Congress just kept the Commandment against lying, the whole country would change over night.
But I think they are in the same churches as most are on this site --- Christ did not lie, so they can.

can you answer the question? if there is no law to break, why would we need Christ to pay for sin?

it is a simple question, if there is no law against running a red light, there can be no ticket.

here is the underlying problem
Christ came preaching we must repent of sin which means past sins and sin no more
Paul came and appeared to teach we are "under grace", that is all we need. nothing more is required
that is the direct opposite of Christ's message, and Peter, James and John

so clue me in, my mind only works using logic

I am not saying that to hurt you or insult you. BUT why you come back with 'if there is no law break (etc) when I clearly stated the law was fullfilled by Christ. Now do you know or acknowledge what that means? I see no reason to proceed further, if you do not understand that and scripture states that directly and clearly. Thank you

ps: since those aware of both testaments understand that fullfillment of the law by Christ only effects those who are IN Christ, it is not use to pursue the alternate rendering of 'if there is no law' etc

no, I do not know how you define "fulfilled the Law", to the many that means it's gone, Christ did it for us so we no longer have to.

When I look at Strong's that word means "fill to the full" which is exactly what I believe He did.

Well there is just one person here....me...so just repond to me and not the many should we continue

I believe the Bible indicates Jesus fullfilled the law as the sinless Son of God/human which means the OT sacrificial system is no longer going to apply as God demands perfection and no human could ever achieve that....the reason God sent His only begotten Son on our behalf

It's my experience that when many people...referring mainly to those on this board now, say the law no longer applies, they are saying what I have said above....I don't think they mean we can do whatever we want...I certainly don't think that

Those who are not saints are considered worldly/ Gentiles. The saints are spiritual Jews by adoption—- so 2.

A jew is contracted ,if I remember correctly Abram was a gentile . The contract was circumcision to holy Spirit baptism alk we contract to covenant, surrender flesh let God hang out at the Temple he carved out.

God’s exposing of people who are not of God is so that they will not deceive the lost sheep.

All the laws in the Old Testament were fulfilled by the Lord Jesus according to His claim in Matthew 5:17. However, His fulfillment was spiritual in nature and not visible to the physical eye.
ROMANS 7:14
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

2 CORINTHIANS 4:18
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Because God is Spirit, His commandments are also spiritual in nature.
God emphasizes that His words are spiritual, which is why He said that He speaks in parables or a dark saying.
PSALMS 78:2

I know what Paul taught, he taught we are to obey, the Torah is Holy Just and Good --- this grace thing is a lie
