I can't imagine sky-diving at 18...doing it at 101 sounds terrifying.

Sky diving is one of those things that Im not really all that interested in doing : p

I can live a happy life without ever trying this myself, haha. I dont feel a strong need to jump out of a flying plane.

once... at 6 years old i was watching aladin and the king of thieves and genie jumped out of a plane, i copied him jumped off my couch and cracked my head open on a table.... i needed stitches there was blood everywhere

no thanks

sky divings not for me

He said that on his next Birthday he would like to try Wing Walking!!

I have sky dived. Quite a few times. Been a while though.
Maybe my next one will be in 44 years.

Doesn't the Bible tell us not to tempt the Lord God? Seems to me that jumping out of a perfectly good airplane and depending on a piece cloth, some strings, and a "RIP" cord to get you safely to the ground, has to fall into the category of a temptation of the "Lord God".

Here's my skydive

Oh my gosh, that was so exciting just watching the video!

How did you and the others feel as the airplane was flying? The guy next to you tried to look calm, but he was man-spreading so much, he was cutting into your space a bit and practically doing a split, lol!

The guy that took your video, was he your friend or was he part of the crew? He had very good control of the camera while in mid air and the video itself is great quality!

The guy that guided you did a great landing. Glad he was your guide.

The most exciting part was when you were both at the door and jumped, I actually held my breath!

Thanks so much for sharing your parachuting adventure with all of us!

Hi, bro. It is my second parachute jump.
The second time was not as interesting as the last one.
The last time the fear was very great, often the heartbeat was strong day and night, I could not even sleep normally.
This time everything was much calmer, but the strong fear remained only in my head. I could not imagine how I would look down again, sitting on the edge of the plane; and how I would be able to do this push down and fall again. It is so unnatural.

The last time my consciousness was clouded, it dulled my fear in the plane and I was able to jump without problems. This time the body was not tormented by fear, I had a clear consciousness, but the strong fear remained only in my head. But still this time I was able to step over it and jump with my partner.
The second time I felt more tired from the fears I had experienced, anxiety and the use of willpower to step over the fear. And the wind was stronger yesterday than last time. Last time I could pray easier after the parachute unfolded, but this time it was harder to pronounce the words of prayer because of fatigue. But I am very, very glad that I finally overcame my fear, although my joy now is not as great as last time. But thank God, I did it!

The perception of the fall was also different. Last time it was very soft, as if I was in the Kingdom of Heaven, and this time I immediately felt the full force of gravity and the fall was rapid. It was difficult to pull myself together during the free fall for a minute until the parachute opened, but I still smiled, raised my thumbs, showing that everything was fine, and also made cross-shaped blessing gestures with my hand towards the cameraman with a camera on his helmet, who accompanied us during the minute of free fall. Yes, he is a crew member.

By the way, last time the height of the fall was a little more than 2.5 kilometers (9000 feet), and this time almost 4 km (13 000 feet), but the difference seemed insignificant to me.

This time I also wanted to experience fear and thus renounce carnal passion, other sinful passions and all sins in me. This fall was simply so unimaginable, like death. And the joy of success is like resurrection. I don’t know if I need to do this again. I feel mysef more free from the sin, as if I renounced all sinful memories. I am also plunging myself in icy water in the winter as a way of asceticism for God. Maybe this will be enough to renounce sin, egoism and lust in myself with prayer to Christ every time.

All other people in the plain seemed to be calm, I didn't notice anything remarkable. May God bless you.

Thank you so much for further talk of your adventure and how you are using this experience to follow God better!

Here's also a short version of my skydive

The short video was fun too! I noticed that they didn't give you a helmet. It should be mandatory to protect your head. Other than that, the editing was great and told the story well.

'Tempting the Lord' is testing to see if His power would respond from a lack of faith.
Jonathan and a freind subdued the entire army of philistines alone by faith.
The reason why we have parachutes in the first place is because planes can fail.
Faithfully jumping out of a plane without blaming God is not a sin.

Thanks, I made it more interesting now. Here's a short clip of me in the air, in addition to it the Lord's prayer "Our Father" is being read in Tatar language by a good friend of mine:
