Ok, so i have always believed in God, but i wasn't the type to just preach about him around my friends or listen to christian music, or anything like that. I know that is wrong to do, but that was the use to be me, now i will shout his name on all the roof tops, upon the biggest mountain. (Metaphorically speaking) but the friends i have still laugh at me and say little things that bothers me, what should i do? Just stop being their friend? I want to be better for God and their negative comments don't effect how i feel about that, it just angers me. I was raised up believeing God, my grandparents took us to church, then we stopped going, i got older and did stupid stupid things, none that put me in jail but could have, i have overcomed a lot of things in my life and i am a strong woman. Just need some advice

If you're looking for advice, and new friends, there are a lot of mature Christian women around CC. I'd recommend getting to know them in chat, or posting in the Women's Forum, which is a forum only the women can see and access.

Keep strong. Many of my friends are or were the same way. Some I hang out rarely with nowadays. Some of my friends have even lately turned to Christianity though too. You seem okay to me, so most important thing is stay strong and get stronger through Jesus.

Thank you :) good advice, friends shouldn't judge one's belief anyways, or mock me and my faith in God they are no kind of friend if they do that, best thing for me to do is let them go.

2 Cor. 6:14 tells us not to team up with unbelievers. The main concern now is that they are your friends. You use to be with them most of the time and you have a great big love for them. Well, I tell you. if you can't just get rid of them, do your best to be a living testimony of Christ; Walk with your faith and resist bad influences. I've been in the same situation. My friends use to debate with me regarding religion and God but later on, because of constant prayer and my testimony, 3 out of 5 now inquire of God. :) God bless you!

Hi there! You know, the verse John 3.16 is really deep and inexhaustible. If you think about it regularly, it's a glorious wonder that God the Father sent His Son into the world to be the Saviour to all who would trust in Him. Knowing this is deep wisdom for life and for eternity!

Thank you guys, really appreciate the info and the feedback means alot to me coming from other Christians :)

YW. How about making sure you read at least a chapter per day of Scripture, and doing so prayerfully? maybe beginning in John's Gospel? and maybe with a Psalm also?
Like this, gradually over time, you get to cover a lot of Bible passages. Blessings.
