If you truly believe the earth is a globe, If you stand on a tall mountain with a view of great distance, how long of a distance do you believe you should be able to see till the curvature of the earth dips below the horizon line?
Why is it when a jet is circling an airport, preparing to land, on a very clear day, passengers in the jet looking out a window are unable to observe the earth rotating beneath them at 1,040 MPH?

he's "flat" wrong.
he said "any rotation causes the precession" -- that the ether rotating around the earth causes the precession. he doesn't understand why latitude matters. this guy doesn't even understand foucault's pendulum at all. the fact is that "any rotation" doesn't cause the precession observed. only coriolis force explains this, and it's because the precession rate depends on latitude that the coriolis force from a rotating, spherical earth is the only explanation.
