PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- A Philadelphia couple -- serving 10 years' probation for the 2009 death of their toddler after they turned to prayer instead of a doctor -- has violated their probation now that another of their children has died.
Herbert and Catherine Schaible belong to a fundamentalist Christian church that believes in faith-healing.
Philadelphia Judge Benjamin Lerner said at a hearing they violated the most important condition of their probation: to seek medical care for their remaining children.
Authorities have yet to file criminal charges in the death of the 8-month-old boy last week, after he suffered with diarrhea and breathing problems for days. But charges could be filed once authorities pinpoint how the baby died.
The couple is on probation after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter in 2011 in the death of their 2-year-old son, Kent, from pneumonia.

A man was lost at see and his ship sank...

Being a man of faith he prayed that God would save him

A while later a boat came by, They offered help but the man refused because he knew God would save him...

The man prayed again,

A while after the second prayer another boat came, they offered their help and said he would not survive much longer..

The man again refused proclaiming that God would save him...

When he died He got to heaven and asked God why he didn't save him..

God replied I sent two boats your way, both more then willing to save you.
 
More fuel for the athiests to pour on thier fires to burn Christianity with. Faith and prosperity movement is dangerous and nasty.

I guess they got what they deserved for their lack of faith. If they had faith God clearly would have healed their children as he does when anyone with true faith ask for healing.
Woe to this unrepentent and faithless world.

There are a lot that do that. But there are a lot that don't either. I think they should have sought medical attention for their child.

These parents DID have "true" faith. They believed in God with all their hearts. To assume they weren't "true" believers is redicilous!

And who cares if the parents "got what they deserved"? It's the children who had to suffer! Are you suggesting that God let the children die as a means of punishment to the parents?

The parent's did have true faith. God didn't kill the children to punish the parents. The parents were negligent, and it's because of the specific way they believed in God. Many people would look at parents who take their children to hospitals as being a part of God's plan - these parents look at it as interfering with God's plan.

What is faith without action?

I hope you're joking. Those victims were little children that were virtually killed by their own parents. God gave us common sense. The people God gave these little children to killed them with their outrageous beliefs.

Maybe these people should have actually consulted God rather than their churches. A personal relationship would have saved these little children. No, God did not make this happen. Doctrinal lies make this happen. False teachers make this happen to innocents.

Yet some doctors are good they help people. They save lives. If you see your child is not improving are you going to watch your child die because you don't like doctors?

Well explain yourself then, instead of posting a short line that came across as heartless, cruel and ignorant to all decent minded people.
