There was no question asked and you did misquote me at first then corrected it and said you never did misquote me or her. I was just stating the facts as they occurred. What I discern will be what I am accountable to God with. This has already been worked out - it was never an issue with me to be honest. It was only a correction in the meaning behind the original wording is all. We are all on the same page I hope...

The "all you had to do..." comments - I need not absorb according to my Lord and King for I responded in kind to my Lord in this matter... I am happy we are all on board by way of the same Spirit - I hope. Let us continue to move onward and upward ... ;):)(y)

Okay, whatever.. YOUR ORIGINAL quote was "as seasoned Christians, we should do just the opposite". Then I re-quoted that in my post. (Original post # 21,470 if you care to refresh your memory).

And Jewel's original quote (#21,455) was " I think..sometimes as seasoned christians we forget what "milk of the Word" is and want to start baby christians on "steak" and they choke or fall away or we lose our patience and compassion... Which I quoted exactly, in part...

And there WAS a question asked by me, which was "do the opposite of what"? Which went unanswered for quite awhile.

Anyhoo, I think we BOTH need better discernment skills.. lol..

Moving on now from this merry go round.. :)

The question you asked was based on a misquote that had no point for me to answer - for it made no sense based on the misquote - later I answered your question then by clarifying what others were unravelling in misconceptions to my original point. So I did answer your question in the truth of the original context - don't you see that? Don't allow self-awareness to tunnel-vision you Blue - I love you dearly and I never was unclear. Let us both move on and place this at Jesus' feet shall we? Yes?

God intends for us to live a well-rounded life in Christ Jesus, but there are times when that life is attacked from the outside. Then we tend to fall back into self-examination, a habit that we thought was gone. Self-awareness is the first thing that will upset the completeness of our life in God, and self-awareness continually produces a sense of struggling and turmoil in our lives. Self-awareness is not sin, and it can be produced by nervous emotions or by suddenly being dropped into a totally new set of circumstances. Yet it is never God’s will that we should be anything less than absolutely complete in Him. Anything that disturbs our rest in Him must be rectified at once, and it is not rectified by being ignored but only by coming to Jesus Christ. If we will come to Him, asking Him to produce Christ-awareness in us, He will always do it, until we fully learn to abide in Him.

Never allow anything that divides or destroys the oneness of your life with Christ to remain in your life without facing it. Beware of allowing the influence of your friends or your circumstances to divide your life. This only serves to sap your strength and slow your spiritual growth. Beware of anything that can split your oneness with Him, causing you to see yourself as separate from Him. Nothing is as important as staying right spiritually. And the only solution is a very simple one - "Come to Me…." The intellectual, moral, and spiritual depth of our reality as a person is tested and measured by these words. Yet in every detail of our lives where we are found not to be real, we would rather dispute the findings than come to Jesus.

I've already moved on, that's why I said "end of topic".:) No offense, Dan, but I never get straight answers from you in response to questions I have, such as the ones I asked in PM the other day. They were roundabout answers that kinda went off onto other topics.. In fact, I'm more confused now about those questions, after you answered me, than I was before I asked them.. lol

Unfortunately, for regulars and newbies alike, neither the BDF nor PM are good places to get important bible questions adequately answered..:confused:

I'm sorry the biblical answers I gave were not received well. May God richly bless you with His continued faithfulness Blue. I was touched and moved by you approaching me in the PM and stating the things you said. I sensed a break-thru developing with you and God - I love you Blue and will continue to pray for you in His name sake ...

It's hotter than a witches broom in this apartment... Got my fans on, and they only blowing warm air.... My tower fan arrives on Wednesday. Hopefully that'll help. (y)(y)

we tend to be distracted, and fail to prioritize Jesus first

when Jesus convicts you, we can misread that as if God is ashamed of us and that God hates us

aside from the negativity,
as hard to believe as it may be sometimes, awareness like this happens because Jesus loves us

It is actually an amusing topic but really can't figure out what is going on.

Hopefully that tower fan will be blue 'cause the air that the circulate is somewhat cooler due to the color. Red fans are good in the winter 'cause they mostly blow hot air. Blue is a cool color, Red is a hot color.
