I could grow a full head of hair but I usually go with the bootcamp look because it's just less maintenance plus I can pull off the look in my humble opinion

That, without the beard and mustache, is also my preferred look, for exactly the same reason. I can give myself a buzz cut at home. And the shorter I cut it, the longer before I need to cut it again. Also no combing.

Wait, this needs a paragraph of its own. NO COMBING!!! No styling, no hair gel, no mousse, no parting to the right or left or down the middle, not even a cursory check-and-swipe to catch any hair that is standing up. Life is too short to spend so much of it managing dead follicle extrusions.

I couldn't agree more with this, but lament that the same option isn't given to women (whether socially or even Biblically in some belief circles.)

I follow a young lady's YouTube channel who is completely bald but rocking her best feminine looks nonetheless.

It's a travesty to me that the only time a woman being bald is reluctantly acceptable (but certainly not considered attractive by most men) is when an illness is involved -- and often a life-threatening one at that.

It's all in the mind. We all have things we wish we could change. People overcome it or people fall victim to it. Men are not all about the "looks" or "overt beauty" of women. Men have been beaten to death with shallowness, and we are NOT.

It's always good to know there are good men (and women) out there.

Unfortunately, I think we all have experienced/know people who have been rejected/left behind/replaced because of looks.

But, I'm proud to have a circle of friends who are genuine Christians and are constantly striving to look beyond just our human shells.

I am blessed, I have a beautiful wife inside and out.....But when it comes down to the nitty gritty.........I couldn't imagine having a better friend, mother to my kids, homemaker, spoiler to me and soul mate. And her overt beauty has NOTHING to do with those spectacular qualities.

Just go woke. That way you can do anything you want with your hair because you'll hate all men anyways. Problem solved. 😃

Well I bet you can guess what happened......LOL I was pulling the snake out of the pipe bent to far forward and next thing I know as I am stepping on the pedal is my head begins to move down fast. I realized what I had done so figured I will just hit reverse on the snake and unwind my hair. Yeah not a good idea just wrapped it around even more.

Well now I am unable to move because my hair is all wrapped around my big old commercial electric powered snake. So had to call for my son to come down with a pair of scissors and cut me free.....LOL Since that happened a few years back now my hair has grown back so I have to be careful of my own ignorance unless I make myself bald.....LOL

P.S. I am sure that the question on your mind is oh my word how gross having your hair get caught in a nasty line that has just been in your sewage. Yes it was and I washed my newly buzz cut hair about three or four times.......LOL

Truth!

My daughter and I went out to eat on Thursday evening.
Afterwards we got ice cream.
I purposely did NOT get it in a cone. It was still messy. Haha
 
I’m in the UK and in the 80s grew my hair long, rode motorcycles and loved it. By the time I reached my 30s the hair had started to thin so I took the shaver and shaved it off and have been that way ever since.

It’s a lot less maintenance now, just a quick shave at the weekend and I’m done. I don’t mind being bald, nobody else minds me being bald so I have no problems with it. If anyone else does then that’s their issue but me ? I’m good with it thanks.
 
Howdy stokie and welcome to the forum.

All I have to say is, I saw some stand up comedy routines from Howie Mandel back in the day. I have to say he looks a lot better bald. And he's funnier now too.

I believe I will start balding a little (emphasis on little) when I am in my late 70s. I might lose a quarter of an inch of my hairline at that time.
 
i never knew of a guy who likes going bald & being bald. most guys, according to polls, don't care how they look. i'm 1 of them. by course, i dress properly for the right occasion now. until i met my wife 8 & half years ago, i never minded what i wore, i would just put anything on. fortunately for me, i still have most of my hair. if some day someone would invent a foolproof way of hair restoration, i think most guys would go for it.
 
if you have a nice round head.. balding doesn't look so bad like Jason Stratham...
Now if you head is a funky shape. The technology is there to combat hair loss.
