Last thing this site needs is more room ideas. Everyone wants their personal interest to be made a room, but so few rooms are ever used as it is. And when they are, its usually not even for its intended purpose.

You know, I don't know if this server is set up for this, but once upon a time, I was a member of a chat site where users could create their own rooms - ones that were password protected, even.

Perhaps we could do away with a lot of the rooms already provided, and enlist this feature...? If it's feasible, that is. That way, we may have fewer room suggestions like this.

I don't think our current chat app allows for a feature like this. I used to occasionally visit a site that had those features and although it was cool when used appropriately, I saw a lot of drama created by it because whoever created the room controlled the room and could kick/ban people from that room. I see it as creating a lot of drama for the Mods here between people complaining about being kicked out of a room, and people arguing with the Mods about what can/cannot be done in the room they created.
