Dear Mr. Coward,
(this is a letter to the person who hurt me. This is also a chance to express how I feel)
I've been feeling really depressed. Like 'I want to die' depressed. I've been asking God daily to kill me. I am having trouble forgiving someone, because he really, really hurt me. Whenever I think of this person, whom I'll call Mr. Coward, I want to scream. Out of hurt. Out of confusion. Why did you target me, Mr. Coward? Why couldn't you leave me alone? You took the dreams of a woman and crushed them with a smile on your face. And where is my God, who promised to be with me during thick and thin? I have never felt so alone in my entire life. I want to end it all. I am so sick of the emptiness I feel. Where is my justice? Where is my God, who promises to pay back each person in full for what they've done? I used to believe in divine justice.
I used to believe in true love, too. I used to think romance was beautiful. That was before I met Mr. Coward. Mr. Coward laid in on thick for me. I was happy. I was in love and nothing could ruin it for me. He was so smooth he was hot knife in butter. Mr. Coward's true personality showed up shortly after. I found out everything he told me was a lie. I doubt he even loved me for me. I should have known. Mr.Coward used me for his own sick sense of self satisfaction. And when he was done he discarded me for other women. Rather than take his punishment like a man, he fled faster than my head could spin. Mr. Coward moved away to some place I could care less about. He left behind an emotionally fragile person whose been crying nonstop ever since he left. what did he care? He got what he wanted. He got the heart of a woman who trusted and cared for him as an equal. He didn't care who he hurt, as long as he was satisfied! He'd tossed my heart aside as if it was worth nothing! Where was my God as I picked up the slivers of my shattered heart?!
Once in blue moon I speak to Mr. Coward. He pressures me to lose weight. He says he doesn't want a fat bride. Really?
Even if you did come back, I wouldn't accept you. You're the reason I've been in constant pain! You think you're doing
ME a favor by promising to come back to me if I lose weight?! What an insult! As far as I'm concerned the only insult is YOU!
unsincerely,
one angry Christian
p.s. thank you for letting me vent. I have only told you a small portion of what had happened.
