Dear Mr. Coward,

(this is a letter to the person who hurt me. This is also a chance to express how I feel)

I've been feeling really depressed. Like 'I want to die' depressed. I've been asking God daily to kill me. I am having trouble forgiving someone, because he really, really hurt me. Whenever I think of this person, whom I'll call Mr. Coward, I want to scream. Out of hurt. Out of confusion. Why did you target me, Mr. Coward? Why couldn't you leave me alone? You took the dreams of a woman and crushed them with a smile on your face. And where is my God, who promised to be with me during thick and thin? I have never felt so alone in my entire life. I want to end it all. I am so sick of the emptiness I feel. Where is my justice? Where is my God, who promises to pay back each person in full for what they've done? I used to believe in divine justice.

I used to believe in true love, too. I used to think romance was beautiful. That was before I met Mr. Coward. Mr. Coward laid in on thick for me. I was happy. I was in love and nothing could ruin it for me. He was so smooth he was hot knife in butter. Mr. Coward's true personality showed up shortly after. I found out everything he told me was a lie. I doubt he even loved me for me. I should have known. Mr.Coward used me for his own sick sense of self satisfaction. And when he was done he discarded me for other women. Rather than take his punishment like a man, he fled faster than my head could spin. Mr. Coward moved away to some place I could care less about. He left behind an emotionally fragile person whose been crying nonstop ever since he left. what did he care? He got what he wanted. He got the heart of a woman who trusted and cared for him as an equal. He didn't care who he hurt, as long as he was satisfied! He'd tossed my heart aside as if it was worth nothing! Where was my God as I picked up the slivers of my shattered heart?!

Once in blue moon I speak to Mr. Coward. He pressures me to lose weight. He says he doesn't want a fat bride. Really?
Even if you did come back, I wouldn't accept you. You're the reason I've been in constant pain! You think you're doing
ME a favor by promising to come back to me if I lose weight?! What an insult! As far as I'm concerned the only insult is YOU!
unsincerely,
one angry Christian

p.s. thank you for letting me vent. I have only told you a small portion of what had happened.

I will, lady. Please, please read Philippians 4 tonight, and try to apply it to your situation? I think it might help. Hugs...

yes i understand because people hurts others dont believe god isnt there not with you. God loves you for you just think about how jesus feel as u denail him also. Prayer is giving your problem over to god and allowing him to move things in you. First u must forgive YOURSELF immediate for loving this person u have to make sure that your heart is strong enough. If u dont u will feel empty alone and weak on the inside. Let god work thru you dont lose your faith because of a man. Promise ive been thru this storm this is what it is called. A Storm.

Huge hugs butterfly.
Praying for you in Jesus, for all that is His healing love to fill you and comfort you.
Praying also for the man that hurt you, that God will convict his heart in Jesus.

For in Jesus, we are not called to walk in flesh, but to walk in His Spirit.
It is in setting the flesh aside, forgiving all and recieving the victory over all flesh that Jesus won for us, that His peace is made perfect in us. :)
Jesus is already with you, look to Him, and recieve His victory!

Hugs and God bless

Dear Butterfly,
Blessed are you, child of God. You are not to base your value on man, which is fleeting, unstable and full of deceit. Rather, place your value in God. Immovable, the only Truth and sure. He does not lie to you, He does not deceive or hurt you, He loves you, unconditionally, for eternity.
Your comfort can only be found in God alone. Look up all the promises you have in Him. Dwell in Gods house, in His Word, so you are planted as a strong tree by the flowing river, your roots drinking from the living waters. Do not weaken your walk by repeatedly exposing yourself to this man...walk away, trusting God has plans for you. Spend your time with those that build tou up, so you can build up others. Be still, wait on Him, get under Gods authority, know His will for your life. In His strength, squash down your fleshly desires, allow the Holy Spirit to flourish within you, so you will know Gods will, will know His peace.
You are living now an eternal life in Christ. Right now. Where is your victory? In Him!! :) His grace is sufficient for you, what He has done for you is enough. He is enough. If He chooses to give you more? Praise His Holy name.
You, yes you! Are a beautiful daughter of the King. How do i know? Because Godmcannot lie :) Does He want you to be overweight, unhappy? No. Lose weight if you understand that is what the Lord wants you to do. The Lord wants you healthy and mobile but your happiness does not come from a clothes size, it is from Him. Fully rely on Him....He will Bless you because He wants too, He loves you, you are His beautiful, cherished child. <><

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sorry to hear that you gave your precious heart to the wrong man. But God heals our hearts. Yes-it might take some time-but it will get better with time and God. Trust in God. He will help you. And I will pray for you.
