As the New Black Panthers are totally ignored even though they intimidate voters and call for vigilante justice. As the streets of Chicago are handed over to the Nation of Islam.
Do you have any evidence for this?

Cementakent, your condescending remarks really show prejudice in the truest sense of the word.
You seem to think you are somehow enlightened; but your thoughts resemble those of a slave trader
How you classify a whole state as being ignorant closely resembles ruthless minds of yesteryear.
I wonder if those camps you speak of could re-enlighten you?

You are giving them cause to classify you with a term that will be a threat to "national security" which we all know knows no limits.

Having signed the detain indefinitely bill.... one considers where all this is heading.

Now let all things come to pass and make your Foundation Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

The Truth is what threatens these folks.

Fight the Good fight not with adding your name to a petition, but making sure your name is in the Lambs Book of Life.

Ha! - - - No, I'm not saying that.
The illegal drug policy is made at the national level.
There is a way to kill the drug cartels. It has to do with making it unprofitable.
It is the same way the 'booze' cartels were taken down by the ending of prohibition.

They have passed these referendums in several states. However, the federal government can still step in and uphold federal laws.

I believe this is what you are referring to. I just don't know if it is the right thing to do. Will we have a nation of addicts? Maybe not. We probably will have no more than we have right now. Guess we will see how it works in those states.

And as far as texas wanting to secede? Good riddance, I mean you gave us W. Bush...no one would be sad to see them go.

I'm sorry, folks. As I do not see solid evidence of a REAL, organized petition from any state to secede, I have no further interest in discussing this further.

Well some conspiracy theories are harder to ignore. Since the US has gone down that road before and 600,000 Americans died it sort of causes our hair to stand on edge when we hear that sort of talk now.

I don't know if secession is illegal and treason, simply because Abe Lincoln says so. Abe isn't the shiny flawless man northern historians make him out to be. But that's another thread.

Secession is offensive to the liberal, because the concept of self-government and the will of the people is anathema to the liberal. To the liberal, people are answerable to the central government. To a liberal the central government isn't answerable to the people. Liberals want us all enslaved to the central government so they can run our lives. Liberals are actually communists.

So yeah, don't expect communists to warm up to any ideas of people detaching from the control of any central government.

States can willingly join, and states can willingly leave. This has always been about government by the people. Unfortunately our communist friends in "Amerika" haven't warmed up to that idea yet.

I think you have a very very misconstrued definition of liberal. And I don't think anyone has a problem with republicans in texas deciding to secede. Its like taking your best player out of the game. By republicans of texas. Thanks for giving up all those electoral college votes GOP.

" if by a “Liberal” they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people — their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties — someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a “Liberal,” then I’m proud to say I’m a “Liberal.”

Look for it.
Fair enough. I did, and still find nothing. So that leaves me to believe that you really made the whole thing up. Not surprising, but somewhat offensive, very disrespectful, and certainly not model Christian behavior.

WRT demands for recounts:

In Florida, the recounts were warranted, because exit polls in some counties showed extremely different results than the counts. In other words, people were asked, "Who did you vote for?" and well over 50% -- in some counties as much as 60% -- said Gore, but in those counties, where despite the margin of error Gore still should have won, the counts had Bush winning. What that means is that a large number of people probably intended to vote for Gore, but, for whatever reason, the vote was not counted, counted wrong, or discarded / disqualified. Now, this could have been due to a completely innocent error, that just happened to favor Bush in the state where his brother was Governor. I will admit, it is POSSIBLE that it was not a case of voter fraud, that all evidence indicates that people who intended to vote for Gore had their votes disqualified due to "hanging chad" or other "innocent" problems. Not likely, but possible. Either way, the recounts were warranted.

The recounts are NOT warranted in this election. Every non-partisan poll indicated that Obama would win. Even if he hadn't won Ohio, he still would have won enough electoral votes to get the coveted majority. Even if Ohio -- the only state where it was at all close enough where a count might make a difference -- had gone to Romney, Obama would still be president.

So, if you crybabies want to sit down and count, recount, and recount the number of times people said, "Hell, no, we don't want Romney," feel free. It won't change a thing.

When you're ready to dust yourself off and get to work rebuilding this country, come join the rest of us. We'll be busy at work, but could always use the extra help.

I always find Amercans' patriotism and hard political opinions fascinating.

I am not in the slightest patriotic towards any nation.

The western world is corrupt.

The pledge of allegiance, the intelligence agency, military force, religjous discrimination, homeless numbers. GDP vs Charitable expenditure, Military budget vs socialhousing budget, iraq, afghanistan, the oil crisis, nuclear weapons, WMD's (lack of them), having the ability to create self sufficient energy and being too greedy to give up oil.

What you're all voting for are 2 candidates funded by the same banks and corporations that keep the Earth in the sorry state it's in.

If I were American I'd sign any petition against the government if I thought it were to change things for the better. Nevermind America, what about the people in it?

Funny how all the people who want to secede from the United states are from states with the lower education, higher crime rate, and higher children out of wedlock rates. What I mean is most republican states, not that all the people from those states think like that or are like that but I feel bad they put up with people who bring their own state down.
