But just to be thorough, we have another woman in our CC stay-in-touch group who also has a strong Lutheran background. She also doubles as a human Concordance, as is Lynx.

Whenever I group text asking, "Hey guys, I'm looking for a passage..." It's never a matter of if they'll the passage I'm thinking of, but how fast they can reply, as they will both know it off the top of their heads. They also supply several reference verses to go with it, and all without looking anything up.

Anyway, I've asked her if she's ever heard of or used the Athanasian Creed (as she's been a lifetime Lutheran,) and we're just waiting for her reply.

Well in relation to the Lutherans moreso I am asking. He's interested it seems probably moreso for you than the actual religion.

Anyways you don't have to ask her, literally just google search it, it's literally always been around. Literally every Christian saint in all of history believes the Athanasian Creed because it is simply the summary of the Bible.
 
You know when groups mention "salvic" or "salvation issues"? The Athanasian Creed is a salvation issue and it's not negotiable.

I'm not looking for a boyfriend, but thanks for your concern. It's never a good idea to assume things about someone's personal life -- or whether they're even looking for someone or not. God has me in a calling right now that doesn't have room for a significant other, unless He drastically changes things.

Many in our friends group are in caregiving situations that seem to be the calling of our lives rather than a spouse

And no, Lynx did not go to me first -- not at all. He texted our group chat about whether we'd heard of the Athanasian Creed -- and I just happened to be the first one to answer.

Our other Lutheran friend just answered and said she's familiar with the Athanasian Creed, but that the Apostles and Nicene creeds are used much more frequently in her Lutheran church.

You play coy but that's alright if he works up the courage to formally ask you on a date (and I said a date not nothing else) take him to your Lutheran Church, stay away from his cult, seriously, don't be unequally yoked there's no friendship between the light and the darkness, believers and unbelievers. He can go up to you and then lead you, but not the other way around.

As I said, I wasn't the only one Lynx asked, and I definitely wasn't the only, or first woman he asked either. He asked our group, and I happened to be the first to answer.

Why would I want to Google search something that I can ask real people about and hear their own real-life experiences?

This is what I find interesting about life. The things people actually experience are often very different and have much more variety than an AI summary.

When I can, I prefer to ask actual people about a subject they have experience with rather than a computer program.

Nothing is more frustrating than when someone won't listen to you about your own life -- that they know nothing about.

I'm not sure if you understand friendship groups?

We're a group of friends, not lonely, desperate people all pining for each other and trying to beat each other out for someone's attention. And we are all very long distances from each other.

Lynx lives halfway across the country from me.

I only see him once every several years, when we are able to organize a group meetup.

If you call 6 people flying and driving in from across the country to meet each other a date, well, you're entitled to your own belief.

Well the first part is just a blanket denial of Christianity also a denial that the wicked go to Hell, amazing really. I notice a lot of resistance about the Trinity Doctrine too, you notice he really slithers around that one, that's where his cult is gonna get eliminated outright by the holy God, praise Jesus.

So do you know if his cult affirms the Trinity Doctrine portion of the Athanasian Creed or denies it in part or in full?

Also no accusation, if you deny the Athanasian Creed you're not a Christian full truth and actually you're supposed to tell people that as part of the Christian religion, you're not supposed to cater to feelings and respect of persons.

See, it's funny to me that you seem to be flabbergasted by the idea of going across the country to meet friends you've only talked to in writing. I've been doing this since I was about 15 years old. Back then, I met people through paper letters; now days, it's through the interwebs.

To you it might seem like something out of the ordinary; to me, it's just a normal trip if I can get the time off.

This just further cements the point that you're speaking into and about my life without knowing anything about me.

By the way, I have also met @RodB651 in person -- at the same meetups where I met Lynx. (Though maybe poor Rod doesn't want it publicly known that he's met a couple of "troublemakers" from CC in real life!) :D

If you dig back through my old posts (but of course, I wouldn't expect anyone to, as it's a long list, but you're welcome to if you like,) you'll see me bantering with Rod as well -- because we are friends. And you'll see me doing the same thing with the female friends I've met in person here, too.

I suppose you're going to now say that I am also "overtly flirting" with @RodB651 as well -- but again, that's all your own opinion that you are forming and publicly speaking -- all without knowing anything about any of us.

I don't know what that creed is and really don't have any interest in it. If you feel it necessary, then have at it.

I suspect you're one of those folks that strains at gnats and swallows camels. I suspect you take as doctrine the commandments/creeds of man. That's your business. Have at it!

The Pharisees also deny the Athanasian Creed because you know they're heretics.

No straining of the gnat, that's what your buddy attempt and failed at spectacularly.

You should probably know if your buddy actually is a Christian or not because there is no friendship between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. You would kinda think if dude is really your friend you would try to you know talk him out of being in a cult that outright denies Christianity and will guaranteed get him sent to hell. Then again, I mean, apparently I'm the only one that believes in God enough to tell the other guy not to get a tattoo of literally "Heretic" on himself, like wow, whole new levels.
 
In regards to the original question about tattoos...

I think the command about tattoos was given to the Israelites, not us? 🤔
