When God made Adam, before God made Eve these were Gods instructions to Adam, simply and plainly
Genesis 2:16 And the LORD GOD commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Eve was made for his helpmeet but when it came for Eve and Satan to confront this was her understanding of the instruction of the command which God gave Adam, The instructions Adam would have passed on to her which I thought was very interesting on how she worded it and look at the comparison,
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD GOD had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Genesis 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the trees of the garden :
Genesis 3:3 But of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
What was Adams communication to her such a loose way of understanding it especially after she was quoting God hath said, when confronted with the serpent (the devil) 3:15, (and the prophesy of Jesus conquering Satan) I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; and it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heal it would have been vital that she understood the command exactly to quote it back to the serpent the way God had said it to Adam, then Adams sin would not have birthed into the world, well at least not in that scenario,....... consequently
1 Timothy 2:13 Adam was first formed, then Eve
1 Timothy 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
King James Authorised Version
I’ve had a lot of personal lessons from this that God has opened my heart eyes and understanding legalism in churches, not letting someone’s words the be all and end all when it comes to the truth about God or anything to do with taking someone’s word about a person ill speaking and making it my own so I thought Id like to share this with my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ God bless
