Hey Crypto,
Great topic. For myself, and everyone in the poor singles forum gets to hear about it, guys my dad's and grandpa's age are the ones who always try to talk to me, so personally, I would find dating a younger guy rather appealing.
One thing I've found though is that older guys tend to "talk down to me" because they feel they've experienced more in life and I guess, see ms as some sort of student who will supposedly benefit from all their wisdom (especially in spiritual matters), while younger guys are in a stage of not being so sure about who they are and where they're at in life, which is completely understandable, but it can be tough when you're at an age where you're starting to get established in life and the other person is just setting out on the journey. I wish I could find someone with a good balance of both side but I'm still looking.
I also have younger brothers, so this is probably another reason why I personally find it easier to talk to guys a little younger than myself at times... but it really depends. As far as how much younger... I'd say 5-8 years, although it would really depend on the person. I have a brother who was extremely responsible, cultured, and further ahead of the game than most guys twice his age so if I ever found someone like that, you can bet I'd at least keep an open mind.
However, the one thing that would concern me is that when I got a little older... he would change his mind choose to be with someone closer to his own age, or younger.
I am also personally at an age where I have to face the fact that God might not have it in His heart for me to have kids, and I would not want to rob someone of that dream if that's what he had in his heart. I've found that I make a much better support person anyway (I've been told I'm a very cool aunt

)--I think I'd be stressed out over my head as a full-time mom, so my personal dream is transforming into finding a guy I can travel the world with and have as many adventures as possible, including possibly working in orphanages, since I'm adopted and this is something dear to my heart.
Great thread!
