Hello again, friends :)

What does everyone think about age differences when it comes to dating/relationships? How much older than you would you date? How much younger? Do you think age differences can cause problems in relationships or would those problems have been there regardless of age?

So here you have it. The age thread.
 
I dont know BFF :) lol... Honestly I think it depends on the maturity level of both parties... their motives.. and what not. As far as me dating the youngest I would probably date is just a couple of years.. as far as how old... dont know. But not extremely far... lol if that makes sense.

I posted a similar thread about this a while ago and it's a good question, because I used to set "age parameters", such as, let's say, between 27 and 40. BUT, what if God has someone perfect for me who is 26 or 41 and I won't even talk to him because he doesn't meet "my" requirements???

So, I would have to agree with Nicsk--I think it really depends on the two people involved... and, of course, what God says about their relationship. :)
 
I don't think I've ever dated anyone younger than me but I have liked people younger than me... the oldest I ever dated was 10 years older. The age difference wasn't a problem, but it was kind of weird when I said something about The Lion King because all the kids saw it when it came out - because my friends and I were all about 10 years old and at that age you saw pretty much any Disney movie that came out... and he said he was in college at the time. That was a weird moment...

But yeah, I definitely think it varies from person to person.

I agree with what has been said, it depends on the person. I have only gone out with guys younger than me!!! lol. I dunno bout the thought of dating anyone older than a 5-7 year age gap.
I am probably pretty young at heart coz I have been a youth worker for the best part of 16 years, so yeah, I guess I do gravitate towards younger guys....dunno if this is a bad thing or not really!! ? :S
 
However if she was a good cook and could iron my clothes really good, i would consider it
 
I don't know what's wrong with me. But I like slightly older women but no older. Like, 28 and a half. But, I've had a female friend who married a guy 20-30 years older. Not that uncommon I realised. And she preferred this older guy to me. Oh well. I guess women don't like masculinely vigorous guys these days. Society is going back to the 1800's when older men and younger women were more common. Carry a frilly laced white umbrella and sip cups of tea at your afternoon garden party , whilst your 65 year old gentleman husband plays croquet. I blame Hugh Grant and those atrocious movies titled Bridget Jones. The link between efficacious pretentious britons and marrying maturesque male sugar-daddy's is there I am sure. I just have no evidence for it yet.
And now there is an ant crawling on my monitor. Should I squash it? I have more pressing matters to attend to, right now.
 
lol sam there is always hope........unless your me im single with 4 kids.........im done for until they are all gone lol

i always thought i'd never ever consider going out with someone younger than me... even a few months younger, but i find myself considering it & liking the idea more and more ;) :D
