Am I A Racist?

Short version.. talking to a 'friend' on CC, they had asked if i had any physical preferences in women. So i stated that there were, in fact, some specific races i did not find physically attractive. This friend then brought up the term racist.
I explained that my preferences in this area were only physical, and that i held nothing against these races, i had no problems being friends with them. And also i had no problem with others marrying and mixing. It was strictly a physical lack of interest and one i can't control. Even after that my 'friend' proceeds to flatly call me a racist.
Then went on to ask me if i 'hated' those races, did i hate other races as well. I was pretty floored and gave them a piece of my mind. We haven't talked since.

So, what's your take? Am i a racist/hateful because i mostly don't find some race/ethnicities physically attractive, while having no problem with them in any other manner?

Nope, I don't find single 90 year old women attractive either. :S

Personally, I don't find people with large mouths attractive. A lot of african women have large mouths. I find dark skin pretty, but at the same time find most african women unattractive...

As for the term racist, I disagree with the negative connotations with that word. Racism and prejudice are only a problem when they are used POORLY. But that's a whole different conversation.
 
Not at all, attraction is biological, you can't do a whole lot about it. I personally do not find generally find Asians attractive at all. Maybe a 1 in a great while, but on the whole, not attractive.

But if you really stop and think about it, how much of your own race do you find unattractive? I bet if you start to pay attention you will notice it is alot.
 
I'm normally not attracted to guys who are unusually thin or who have excessive amounts of facial hair, but I don't think that makes me a racist. It's quite a leap for someone to take your saying that you don't find someone attractive to mean that you hate all people of that description.

I'm extremely fair skinned because I'm a redhead and I'm teased about it all the time. It might put some guys off. I think it would be awesome to have a little color. :)

I'm serious! I look at other ladies sometimes..their gorgeous tans.... Unless I want to look like a page out of a dot-to-dot book (freckles), that ain't gonna happen in my world. :/

A girl certainly doesn't need a tan to be attractive. I'm sure you know that..but I'm saying it anyways. See, that's another preference thing. I've seen pretty tan girls and pretty fair skin girls. Yup. I guess I have no preference on that one. Ha.

I guess almost the entire set of species of birds are big racists. Don't listen to that baloney of your "friends" OK. For the record, IMO there are attractive women of all races. It's just a matter of personal preference, that's all.

Oh please. Thing is, these girls out getting tans, are going to look like leather handbags when they get older... or yet, end up with skin cancer. Meanwhile white and freckly looks younger than she really is. Hmm..
Tanning doesn't make a woman look better by default.

Im very fair skinned during the winter, but in the summer i stay out of the sun because i dont get one of those nice tans either, i get so dark people tell me i look like a different race. So i can sympathize with you :(
 
Hate to see this person's other views on life Now we have to be attracted to everybody too?! That's absurd. Don't worry Ugly, I think you're good.
 
A racist is someone who thinks they are better than someone else simply because of that person's skin color or ethnicity. It has nothing to do with physical attraction.

LOL.... attraction is NOT biological.. i wasn't attracted to this any person of this race, physically, but i found myself attracted to some at this one time in my life and I didn't know why... I wasn't racist either, I was attracted to more of what was inside and not of what is on the outside, the way she carried herself... We all just have our preferences... You're not born to like and dislike a specific race... Interracial marriage comes in all varieties...
