Hi all...I have something I want to share as I am feeling slightly puzzled ...
I was sitting this evening in hospital waiting for a scan and a man walked into the waiting area and sat down in a wheelchair, he had something in his arm to suggest he was on a drip or that matter, but I know he was an inpatient because he was dressed in a hospital gown...

I was sat reading my pocket bible and he said to me " Oh what you reading ", I heard as clear as day his question, then I replied my bible, and he said "Ah yes, tis good ", then he nosioned me to give him my bible and asked for my glasses with his hand signal, it was then that I realized he was of a different language from me...So I gave him my reading glasses and he started to search the bible, then he handed me the bible back and pointed to me where he wanted me to read from, so I did just as he asked...As I did he closed his eyes...

He did this on numerous occasions, and once I had read the Scriptures that he wanted me to read, he gave me signs that he understood yet he never spoke English, he raised his hand upto heaven then pointed at his eye, I knew he was saying God sees everything...

The Scripture I read to him at first was 1 Timothy, about how we are in the last days, how people will become lovers of themselves and disrespect with no godleyness about them , and the last Scripture I read to him was about the end times coming...

He let me know he was Christian, other than that we could not understand each other , he was not even broken English yet he understood every word I spoke from the Scriptures...

I am just so Amazed at how God works through us, how God made His word come alive between two people who speak two different languages, it has definitely left a print on my heart...All the glory to God...\o/...

Did you see a technician take him away? Or anyone in hospital work attend? Am thinking he was an angel if not. Lol

Nevertheless, a messenger. :)

Hi Stones, yes I did...He was wheeled out in the chair that he walked in and sat down in...He first came into the waiting area on his own two feet, he left being wheeled out...

Ii do not understand this thing that happened to me today, all Ii know is that there is a message...There must be, why would I be so astounded by it :confused:...Maybe God will reveal something to me as I tread these murky waters before me...I am due an op soon on my heart, I was there today having a scan because the heart specialist heard a noise in my left artery in my neck...I do not know but God does, I just had an urge to share my moment about a man who could not understand me, nor I he, yet he understood the Scripture, and told me when to stop as if he had been satisfied...I can not understand it, but it happened, it is true, before my LORD Almighty I speak the truth...xox...

I have no doubt Rosemary. Perhaps just to assure you that He sees you and is aware of what's happening.

please let us know when the surgery takes place. I'm assuming it's a carotid artery problem? I've taken care of post surgical pts and all went well. :)

We do have an amazing Father, rosemary. There are times we are just surprised how He works, as once my mother and i were at the hospital too. After her appt, i was still w/ doctor, and she met a friendly angel outside w/ whom she chatted until my turn was over. Turned out the lady was from a sister-church from another town, wc was a thrill to all of us...

To God be the glory, great things He hath done. Keep on sharing!

Morning Stones...I have SVT attacks, my heartbeat goes at 220 beats per min, so I am due to have an ablation , to have the part of my heart burnt that knocks it out of sync...But the specialist found a noise in my right artery of my neck, so the scan yesterday was to see if there is a blockage, I will get results soon, they never told me anything yesterday if they saw anything although I tried to question them but to no avail, she said the specialist will be able to tell me once he has looked at the scan pictures...

Yes maybe that incident with the man was a way of God letting me know He is with me, I do not know...xox...

Maybe Waggles, never thought of that...I wish I asked for his name now...I did say goodbye as he was wheeled out and said it was nice meeting him...I will never know...xox...

You just never know the people that God will allow to cross your path so that you can minister to them at that precise moment, perhaps in a life changing way. Thank you for sharing this amazing moment and God bless you for the work that you do.

Hi Tourist...Thank you for your kind words...All the glory to God \o/...
I have to say that a few days ago I was really down on myself...Because I spend so much time on my own, I started to wonder if I had any fruit to show, if I was really growing...My pastor and his wife have gone away for 6 months to do conferences etc, so apart from CC, I have no one to fellowship with...

So the other night I was feeling really down, telling God that I feel I have no work to show, that I am useless, I started to take my eyes off Jesus and turn to myself :rolleyes:, this started to turn into a mild depressive state, and before I knew it I was a wrecking ball on myself, crying out to God, even to the point asking myself if I am truly saved...

Now you have just pointed out to me that I was doing a work for God, I never thought of that, and if it is true, than that seems to be the message because I had no control over that situation, it could be only God to have done such a thing...

I am quiet a shy person in some respects, especially being put in a position where I had to read to this man aloud...Come to think of it as I am typing to you now, when he first asked what am I reading, I remember telling him and then going back to read and hoping he would not ask me any more questions as I do not like talking to people in general lol, it is just the way I am:rolleyes:...I am now thinking, If God does not will us to move, than we should remain quiet, but when God does Will us to move, we can not help but move...I would never be able to read out loud under normal circumstances, but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us...xox...
