not to get on your high horse about what the rebellious do with their free time -or even judge their activities as wrong. If they are going to hell, their reward is to live it up while their on Earth (the place where the evil one has dominion).
Also, I can guarantee I found myself further down the path of darkness than you could imagine, pm me if you want to discuss this further, because it seems to me, that because you were scarred by a creepy fortune teller, that now you are overly sensitive to any occult. We are in the time of the falling away. We can't stop it. No where does scripture tell us if we do a good enough job evangelizing and controlling the world that we can stop the end from coming. We are to be as travelers in this world, which means we need to be able to look at things as Christ sheds light on them, to minister to those he would set free. I know I could have been saved a lot easier if Christians weren't rude always calling me a witch and saying in a condescending tone that I was going to die and rot in hell for eternity. We need to have patience with our decaying world. We tolerated the spirit of Jezebel in our country, and now we have a culture of evil to punish her children with death and bring hell along with it. Ooops. Go feminism....=P
Also, it's not up to us individual to decide what someone else (who's not your child), even a fellow Christian, should or shouldn't watch. As long as it's not porn, they're not addicted to it, and they're not ignoring God because of it, than who cares! Some people have different thresholds for things in their brains. Take burn ward nurses for example. I could watch that show all day without getting nightmares, but I think one shift on a burn ward would torment my dreams for years.
That and the illuminati isn't teaching people how to perform magic through these shows. I read a review on it, it said most of it was just graphic violence, the witchcraft stuff is based on 'historical' witches. Like women that got in power and decided virgin blood was the best weapon against aging. Now THAT is satanic. I assure you that young girls are not thinking "when I get older, I'm not getting wrinkles, I'll just use virgin blood!" The most dangerous thing they do is play with ouija boards, which have been marketed as a KIDS TOY for like 50 years without much fuss. A toy that any kid can buy at the toy store, now those things are evil- I have personally been hurt using one as a teenager. No really though, I think the enemy wants us to think the illuminati is controlling media, because it makes it laughable, and even if they were, they don't broadcast their secrets on tv for the casual observer to watch and go cast spells. Is Rihanna a slave? Yes. Aren't most people though? Anyone can sell themselves or be sold into various sorts of slavery at any time. I think soon we will have a better understanding of this topic.
Again, feel free to pm me, we can talk about this perseveration, it's not healthy, and really there are more pressing concerns. If you really feel this strongly about teens getting led astray, go help at a youth ministry, be a mentor, and stay out of occult book stores LOL

I have never understood the point of being so disgusted or offended by a TV show or video and then posting the same thing for everyone to watch. It must be like finding the old Tupperware in the back of the fridge and saying, "Oh, gross! Take a whiff of this>"
I become very involved in the occult as a young 12 year old back in the 60's. There were no TV shows blatantly promoting Satan. For that matter, very few shows had anything like the mildest PG 13 shows today. I just remember no swearing, no sex and nothing evil being portrayed as anything but bad.
And yet, Satan was alive and well, and I began to delve into evil. Ouija boards, astrology led to reincarnation, which led to wrong living.
Fact is, Satan has seduced people since the beginning of time. (Think: Adam and Eve!) and he didn't need a TV show to do it.
I think David has it right. Christ said those who took care of the sick, the hungry, the thirsty and those in prison in his name were the ones going to enter heaven.
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. The time has come to stop worrying about what Satan is doing, and start following Jesus and paying attention to what he says we are to be doing in the world.
We are to be preaching the gospel and helping those who have less than us. Anything else is wasted time. Satan will find those who are open to the his guiles one way or another, just like he did me.
But thanks to those who prayed and witnessed to me, God became more real and more important than any work or show of the devil. That is the better choice!
