Yeah, there are different theories of how to determine when to do it. Our church uses the traditional calendar in order to plan ahead for the day. It's a blessing no matter which way you figure it out.

Howdy, Hoff!

Nope, I'm not Jewish. I've been a Christian almost 20 years now, so yes, I do worship and serve Jesus. But i also do my best to follow the Torah in spirit and in truth through Messiah. I see Passover as Jesus' death and our salvation, once for all. I see the Day of Atonement as the forgiveness He grants us on a daily basis for our transgressions. Similar concepts, but they are uniquely different to me.

Thanks for posting all of that Shiloh! I had thought of doing that as well, so you beat me to it.
So much good stuff in those verses and prayers. It almost seems like there is too much to truly grasp each year.
