I've heard preachers talk about this and every one has a different opinion on it, but do you think there will be animals in heaven? I'd like some scripture to support your views. I think I'm more on the side of yes, there will be animals. They are one of God's most amazing creations and it makes no sense to me that he would just erase all those wonderful creatures.
I've heard people saying that dead pets will be in heaven waiting for us. Now that I'm not so sure I believe. (It would be lovely to see my dead dog Chloe again, she was family) But the bible doesn't mention it as far as I'm aware. All I know is that it says it will be more amazing than we could possibly imagine. If that includes being reunited with loved pets, who knows? Only God
Ecc 3:20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
Ecc 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
There will be no pets in heaven, for it is for people, not animals, and in heaven a person would not need the company of their pets.
Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Jesus went away to prepare a place for the saints that where He is they may be also, which is a new heaven, and new earth, and the former heaven, and earth, shall not be remembered, nor come to mind.
That means of all that pertains to the earth, and heaven, the saints will remember nothing of it.They will remember not one single thing, and it will not come to their mind, which Jesus said behold I make all things new.
A saint will not remember their pets, and they will not remember their family, and friends, and they could be standing next to their mom,and would not even know that she was their mom,for they will remember nothing of the earth, for if they were to know that was their family,or friend, then they would know about the earth, but they will not remember the earth, and all that happened there.
A saint cannot miss their pet,for they would not even know they had a pet.
Nothing that pertained to what happened on earth will be remembered, and nobody will be in heaven but people, which the saints will not even know those people if the knew them on earth.
For all things are new,and when the saints, and the angels, are in the New Jerusalem, they will remember nothing prior to the New Jerusalem, and they will feel as if they had always been there, and nowhere else, and it is a place wherein dwells righteousness.
The saints will not remember the earth, for it is associated with sin,and rebellion, and in the New Jerusalem rebellion will never rear its ugly head again.
But the saints that are with Jesus now in the temporary heaven do remember their pets, and the earth, but when they get to the New Jerusalem they will remember nothing prior to that.
There is no pets in heaven, the New Jerusalem, but the saints will not miss them for they will not even know they had a pet.
