Okay, well I've tried several times to get the plain stating of your beliefs, but you keep providing esoteric answers, so I am going to presume I have it down at this point.
I obviously disagree with your interpretation of Matthew 24. The entire context of the chapter is stated in the beginning:
3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
The Disciples are asking about the end times and Jesus answers them. This is not a chapter that is discussing Salvation. Since Jesus was already in front of them, they were clearly looking to the Second Coming of Christ and the end of the world. So regardless of what you think about the rapture, this is a prophetic chapter. And Jesus is urging the Disciples to be diligent and faithful until the time of the rapture and Day of The Lord because it will happen at a time that is unexpected.
You said above that Jesus came unto you at a time you did not expect and were caught off guard. Well this is what Jesus has to say about that:
42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
By your own admission, you were not paying any attention when Jesus "arrived." So you are putting yourself in with the category of people Jesus will punish. Of course I don't agree with your intepretation. I believe Jesus is talking about His future coming in the clouds at the Rapture just before the day of the Lord. When He will take His believers out before the coming wrath of God. But you are left with a big dilemma if you think this is somehow a reference to general salvation of believers through time. Because as you stated about yourself, you didn't know when He was coming and were caught completely off guard, thus you fall into the group detailed in verse 50-51.
