I like to pretend that age is a state of mind. That makes me about 5. :geek:
 
There are quite a lot of us here. I am 68 years old, a retired Christian who lives in one of the available assisted living because I cannot take care of myself. For the last few years, I have been forced to walk on crutches, and the further, the harder it is for me. Therefore, I am helped by young nurses who cook food for me and just communicate with me. I feel very good here, and I am grateful to God for every day he gives me. I get up in the morning, and the first thing I do is pray and thank God. Then I go to breakfast. After that, I have fun with other pensioners who also live here. We play cards and chess, watch TV, and communicate in such a way that time passes very quickly.

I too am learning to be content with the little things others take for granted. Just glad to be here and meet nice people like you. :):coffee:

Aww that's sweet but I checked her bio and she hasn't been on since June last year. Older Threads stay open fyi. Maybe she'll see this🙏🙏😃 and respond. This is a neat Thread you can start a new one yourself if you'd like with a similar theme.
