Our pennies are still legal tender but they have been being phased out for some time now (since 2012) and most products are priced and rounded up or down to the nearest nickel for cash transactions... though actual cash transactions are rare, since most pay by debit card.

Not at the present time but the forums, especially the Singles forum is almost like a chat room as the replies usually come quickly. I'm an old guy too (70). Glad to have you join us. Welcome to CC.

I finally saw gone with the wind a few years back
Great movie
The gf found it a few days before on one of her subscription services
Then we watched it together
One of the rare instances she'd sit still for 5 minutes
We eventually seperated, it is still very recent
It's great to have good memories

I remember growing up in the 80's
All of us at the grandparents house
Them still talking about the war
It would've been around 30 years fresh for them at the time
A bit like looking back on September 11 these days
That generation is slowly disappearing
I suppose soon enough times will be ready for another white knight to come riding in
People will have forgotten history soon enough
In the meantime we do what we can
And the memories
So many
Like a fishing basket full of juicy worms
So, fellow oldies
After everything
We still know what to do

I would count as a senior "citizen". I am on my sixties. I am still really fit. To see me move you would think I really am. I am sure no one would outwalk me. I will respond socially, or give answer as I know I might have questions.

Oh gosh ! Just realised ! I think I might b a senior ! 58 ? 59 in July . Does that qualify me ?
