Lol surely I can't be the onlyone who thinks this sometimes right?

I sometimes just sit and wonde...I mean of course we;ll worship Jesus in Heaven but is that it?...will we eat, will there be tv?, will there be oceans or trees?, will we live in A house?, will there even be a need to sleep or have houses?

Just all sorts of things i wonder really. Id love to hear others thoughts

I'm not sure exactly what the New Heaven and New Earth will be like but the Bible gives us a bit of an idea. For a comprehensive, biblically-sound study of the subject of eternal life with Christ, check out the brilliant book "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn. I really can't recommend this book enough. It takes ever Bible verse/passage etc. about Heaven and extrapolates on them. Yes, there's some speculation but it's all backed up by the Bible, read in context (fancy that!) Best of all, Alcorn is humble and wise enough to include in his introduction that he may not have everything right about Heaven.

Even if we have to watch people play Candy Crush for eternity, it has to be better then this place? Whatever it may be like, I can't wait to see.
 
I will be doing lot's of running and gymnastics. Ya'll can stand around and sing or something. I'll have looped the earth a few times at that 10,000 year marker.
 
It will certainly be interesting to find out. But imagine all the characters in the Bible we have read about that will be saved I for one will love to meet them and chat about their experience here on earth.

Plus I believe during the first 1000 years while Satan is bound to this earth with no one to tempt that we will be going over the books with God seeing the punishment of the wicked understanding that God was a just God in their punishment. A Bible verse says don't you know you will judge angels I imagine that would be the wicked ones as the good angels would already be in heaven needing no judgment.

We will serve God Bible says we will be like the angels. I would also like to think that we would be ambassadors and telling our redemption story to other created worlds and in the book of Job is says when the sons of God came together and satan was there saying he had come from roaming to and fro throughout the earth.....So I believe there are other worlds with beings God has created and they would be interested in our redemption story and the goodness God has shown to us...so get your speaking skills ready.

We will have new immortal bodies because Bible says this mortal must put on immortality we will drink from the river of life and eat from the tree of life. There will be so many wonderful things to do and see as Bible also says eye hath not seen nor ear heard the glories that have been prepared for us.....But the best part will be to be reunited with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to have the invisible visible and to be seen and see clearly and not as through a dark mirror....What a wonderful glorious day that will be.


Heaven is a wonderful place, filled with glory and grace, I want to see my Saviors face - Heaven is a marvelous place....a little song.....

There will probably be TV in heaven but hopefully no commercials. There will be oceans and trees. Gardens will be planted for both food and beauty. Houses will be built to be occupied by the children that are produced from enduring male / female relationships. Oh, my little dog will be there too. Right now he is wandering around looking for his daddy. When he finds him he will have a good time then.

Maybe there will be RessurectionChat in heaven, where people can bicker 24x7 whether obedience had anything to do with them being there? Maybe go ask the Lord Jesus who killed Goliath?

I remember asking a while back if we would ever get bored in heaven. Especially when there for such a long time. :P

No, no! That's one of the greatest lies of the Enemy. The New Heaven and the New Earth will be brilliant!
 
To be honest I never really wondered about that. I just know we get to spend eternity with our Lord and Savior. That's all I need to know really. :)

It is a surprise that our human minds cannot fathom. No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind can conceive what God has prepared for those who love Him. (1 cor 2:9).

The new Jerusalem will be literrally shining brilliant. And it will be square shape. (Rev. 21:16)
Isn't it amazing we'll see the the Lord, Jesus and the angels?... all the apostles... and people who
died for the cause of Christ, living again, forever...

The entire Chapter 65 of Isaiah, makes a great description of the New Earth.
I find myself imagining, if the New Earth will be like that, how would be the New Skies?... :)

I used to when I believed that people went to Heaven, however, after studying the Scriptures I realize that they don't. So, now I no longer wonder.
