Because we do welcome the foreigner/refugee. We DONT welcome illegals running the borders.
That's not what is happening. What is happening is getting rid of people abusing the system and committing fraud.
The ballroom will be used long after he has left office. As he says continually that by the time it's finished it will be the end of his presidency. You see what happened when they held a dinner in another place? It's safer to have a ballroom, and it's more convenient. Nothing wrong with having money, nothing in the Bible against having money.
People never give Trump an ounce of credit. He is under no delusions about any of them. Why do you think he's trying to make a deal with Greenland and pulling Canada away from Commies.
Wow!! If you don't see the difference between the two parties you're blind.
Does committing a misdemeanor make someone a criminal? I recognize that committing a felony likely qualifies, but in roughly half the states in the USA, speeding is a felony, punishable by jail time. Crossing the border without proper documentation though is a federal misdemeanor. And these immigrants are not taking much from the government in benefits, in fact what undocumented/illegal immigrants pay in various federal taxes exceeds any federal benefits they are receiving by billions of dollars a year. Now which would you prefer, the government receiving billions more in revenue to reduce the deficit or paying billions more and increasing the deficit? Bear in mind, all American citizens lose as the deficit grows and the interest on the debt increases.
There are many other ways of reducing waste and fraud than the approaches that are being followed. Waste exists in any large institution, but taking a cleaver to programs, such as has been done by this administration, costs money, it does not save. We were promised great savings, and the amount that we were going to save kept dropping, and whether the massive cuts actually saved any money or whether they actually cost money is still being determined, although it is looking more and more like the cuts cost money. S simple rule change that being convicted of fraud automatically includes a financial penalty equal to at least 200% of the amount obtaine3d by fraud would greatly deter many who commit fraud and not cost any significant additional amount.
The ballroom is being constructed in defiance of existing law. Trump has been charging ahead and challenging people to restore what he has destroyed, trusting that he will get away with his illegal actions. The question is then, not whether or not a ballroom should be built, but is Trump going to follow existing law in order to do so.
Do you recognize that Greenland is an ally of the USA and that Canada is a democracy, able to choose what choices it wants to make? Or would you prefer that other countries get to dictate to the USA what the USA is allowed to do? If you do not wish to grant other countries the right to dictate to the USA, it is hypocrisy to assert that the USA should be allowed to dictate to other countries.
And I do see clearly at least one major difference between the two current major parties, the GOP is heavily being driven by fear, yet the closer to God one is, the less fear there is. The more the GOP pushes fear, the farther away from God it is going. Note I am not saying that the Democrats are more godly just that the GOP is moving away.
