Hello, single father here and I'm wanting to take my toddler son to the men's church group BBQ. I was thinking of either dressing him in a shirt, shoes and diaper or something like the outfit pictured. Which do you all think would be the best choice?

Magenta do you think it would be a good idea to put a pair of rubber pants over his diaper before his outfit goes on?

Excellent, I also plan to double diaper him. So they'll be no need to change his diaper until we get home that evening. Thank you again! God bless you

What a blessing.

If I had a boy he'd be wearing camo though.
He'd get barbi Q sauce all over and no way to get those stains out. Might as well match the outfit.....painted face and woodland shirt .

That's a great idea with the camo! Let him get real messy, let him be a boy. Camo also hides the messes he makes in his diaper. I may have to switch outfits now.

I think you did a great job of finding him the best outfit. He will be the center of attention.
I'm just kidding about camo ...sort of.
I'm thinking ahead to laundry day and a boy that age with barbiQ sauce all over his face and clothes.😄

Don't forget the camera. He'll laugh about that meal years to come.

It hasn't happened yet so I have time. I'd never thought about the camo for dirt, stains, food, diaper leak or blowout. I definitely going to switch to camo material for that same style outfit. Thank you so much brother for your great idea!

Just curious, you mentioned a painted face, did you mean to paint a camo design on his face? Also the woodland shirt, is that a camo design as well?

I would like to hear your thoughts on a diaper cover if you have a moment more.
I got the joke. Lol
That's the first I've heard that one.

When it comes to baby baptism I think of what David said when a tragedy happened in his life. Please pay special attention to verses 18-24.

II Samuel 12

David understood an important doctrine available even in the Old Testament. This should be a comfort to all parents who have lost a child. David was assured of his destiny in Heaven as we see in Psalm 32 and New Testament quotes of King David. In spite of his awful sins of adultery and murder to cover his deed, David still destined for Heaven.
How can this be?

Salvation was never based upon obedience to the laws of God or good works/ deeds.
Salvation was always based on faith.
David was a child of God by faith in the Lord Whom he called upon for salvation.
However, as a child of God, David would be disciplined/ punished as a child while still alive in his mortal body. He would not be going to hell for those sins though.
Did David get away with his sins?
First was the loss of his child. Then a series of events occured that were the most painful reminders he suffered while he lived. There were consequences, but not hell.

12:23
But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

Since he would go to him some day, that child assuredly preceded his father in Heaven with the Lord.
This is why I don't believe baptism imparts any grace as a sacrament required for heaven as my former Roman Catholic church taught me. A baby is bound for heaven just as he is.
As adults we make that decision to quit trusting in works and instead put 100% of our faith in Christ as described Here. That was the best decision of my life.

If you have any more questions please feel free to ask. I should be able to get to it in the evening.
Good to have you aboard friend!

Thank you for the insight and welcome brother! Back to the camo outfit. Just curious, you mentioned a painted face, did you mean to paint a camo design on his face? Also the woodland shirt, is that a camo design as well? Sorry for all the questions.
