Your comment, "little lady", strongly suggests that you have a low view of women.
since I already stated I don't agree with women pastors, why bring it up ?
however I have possibly a bigger problem with men that God never called to any office whatsoever
and they are by far in the majority

And when I read the last posts of this thread about what and how is reactet to loyaldisciple I ask myself where is the love? He has an different meaning then the major of this thread. And he trys to teach what he understands from the word of God.What is wrong ? Is this a reason for to make him verbal finnish? Only because you not agree with?

How on earth can you claim scripture is "my opinion" ?. It is not my opinion, by any means. Why do you ridicule someone so much for choosing to side with what the scripture says ? Makes no sense why a Christian would bash somebody for suggesting the word of God is correct and wanting to go by it. You are right, I am not God and it is ludicrous to suggest that I ever claimed any such thing simply by passing along His word.
When it comes to this women preaching issue I would agree that if we use our minds it would seem anyone believing in the Bible should be able to preach. But the Bible tells us not to rely upon our own understanding and instead to follow the word. I can't tell you exactly why the Bible says for women not to preach in a church, I only know it does say this. I am sure God has a good reason for this whether we can understand it or not. Why do we even need to understand it ? When it is important enough to be in scripture, then I have to believe it is important enough that God wants it to be followed. If you don't agree then that is your choice. But you should not be condemning anyone for wanting to follow what the Bible says.

Has nothing to do with being any misogynist. Just look at the recent posts in the last few pages. I don't see any men on her tossing out threats at anybody. It is only a few of the women doing this, not any of the men so it is showing to be a fact. If I was against all women in any way I would have said "all women" instead of "some women". It is clear I was not referring to all women but only some women, which is exactly what I said. Some women have been sitting behind a computer tossing out threats, so I said some women are arrogant. It is a fact. If you don't want to believe it that is fine. But by you accusing me of being a misogynist for stating fact about only the women who did this that is yourself making a false accusation.

If you look back, it is as early as post #6 that this thread began speaking about women preaching in the church. It was brought up long before I ever arrived and that was what the discussion turned to. If somebody doesn't have the desire to follow the scripture then obviously they have the desire to follow something else. So, yes I am free to acknowledge that fact and so is anybody else.

God is not any supporter of modern day feminism and if you believe that He is then you either haven't read your Bible or you've forgotten it. Who should I blame for feminism, the man ? Seems to me it is mostly the women that want to act like a man that are in favor of it. The women who act like women aren't in favor of it.

88 then maby you should study Joel 2 and the context and show me where this is realized today to the nation of Israel. Solong you can not proof that Joel 2 is realized today you should not take single verses out of the context.
Otherwise you are spreading false doctrine.
Acts 2 can only seen as a partwise fulfillment, because the context of Joel 2 is not fullfilled till now.
If you are 93 then you grew up in the 30s - 50s. Many common sayings from that age are offensive to some people today. I do not agree or disagree however I think if we remember that there may be less....contention? Or maybe not...shalom.
