That is what Jesus said, if you say Jesus and His Father are one, you can't have one with the other . I guess is the reason that he said the following-“Jesus Christ stated clearly --- “by every Word” --- not just those you agree with. “
so then ?
“But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.”
Deuteronomy 22:20-21 KJV
This is Gods word to his people and if a girl is found to have had pre marital sex and we must obey it even though we don’t agree ?
Or is that word an exception ?
“It appears you disagree with the 10 Commandments.”It appears you disagree with the 10 Commandments.
during the 1000 year rule by Jesus Christ every person that refuses to obey will be cast in to the Lake of Fire, dead for eternity.
Luke 19
27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay [them] before me.
God hate sin 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Every person that refuses, willingly and knowingly, to obey God's ONE perfect Way will be put to death.
I am sick of living in Satan's world filled with sinners. God has a plan for sinners.
“The passage does not say to stone a girl to death if she has premarital sex.”That is what Jesus said, if you say Jesus and His Father are one, you can't have one with the other . I guess is the reason that he said the following-
23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
John 15:23-25
Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his child, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.
The passage does not say to stone a girl to death if she has premarital sex.
13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,
14 And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:
If the female represented herself as a virgin, if true then her parent could defend their daughters virtue.
15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:
16 And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;
17 And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
If the husband had falsely accused his wife to dishonor her virtue -
18 And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;
19 And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
If the wife is found to have lied to her husband, and her father-
20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:
Then shall ye do unto the father as he had thought to have done unto his ex son in law: he may not put her out of his house all his days.
“It appears you disagree with the 10 Commandments.”
um wow . No I was asking you a question because you said we had to obey the whole Bible lol ? Apparently you had no interest in answering so I’ll leave you to it
Not really no I was asking based on what you said before about obeying all the Biblethe government of God is not on earth now --- we are ruled by man's government --- and man's laws do not follow God's.
thus we now regard fornication and adultery as normal and healthy unless money is involved.
But when Christ returns HE will rule by the Torah. The Law/Torah will go forth from Jerusalem. Sin, repented of, will be paid for by the blood of Christ, those refusing to repent, refusing to stop sinning will be put to death according to Torah Law.
does that answer the question?
Not really no I was asking based on what you said before about obeying all the Bible
Mmhm I see so we’re all going back to this ….My answer states we can not at this time but when Christ returns the Torah will be world Law, every Word will be enforced, with patience and mercy to a point. Once a person understands, they must obey --willingly.
your statement, "many that do not know the Torah - are coming to Christ.'Aaaaaand… the point of all this is what, exactly?
Irrelevant to my statement.your statement, "many that do not know the Torah - are coming to Christ.'
there are 45,000 kinds of christian churches all teaching diverse doctrines, some very diverse.
Christ taught One way, one narrow path, not 45,000 paths
Explain how a person that knows little of the Word finds which one or ones, if any, of the 45,000 that actually follow and teach Christ's One way?
Christ warned His disciples not be be deceived, why? Even Paul warned when he dies deceivers would come into the church
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
God is not the author of confusion -- 45,000 is confusion.
The Law of God is His instructions for how to embody His character traits and His character traits of the fruits of the Spirit, so everything in the Law of God was given to teach us how to walk in the Spirit, which is why the Spirit has the role of leading us to obey it and why circumcision of the heart is a matter of the Spirit. In Ezekiel 36:26-27, God will take away our hearts of stone, give us hearts of flesh, and send His Spirit to lead us in obedience to His law. Someone who was walking in the Spirit would be indistinguishable from someone who was correctly walking in obedience to the Law of God because they would both be following the same example that Jesus set for us to follow. Walking in the Spirit is not a way of being counted as obeying the Law of God without actually obeying it.Writing the law upon the heart is figurative language for the indwelling holy spirit, which is the law of God. It whispers and we obey
And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 1 Kings 19:12And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Isaiah 30:20-21

I don't agree that Peter should be interpreted as expressing views of obeying the Law of God that are incompatible with the truth of what he considered to be Scripture. For example, do you affirm or deny that Psalm 19:7-11 expresses an accurate view of obeying the Law of God? Can you please explain how it is compatible for someone to affirm the truth of Psalm 19:7-11 as Scripture while also considering the Law of God to be an unbearable yoke? You teach the holy spirit incentivizes us to obey the law, but Peter, who had the holy spirit, called the law an unbearable yoke. Why?
The Law of God was given in order to teach us the way to be a doer of righteous works, but was never given as a way of becoming righteous as the result. The only way to become righteous is through faith apart from being required to have first done enough righteous works in order to earn it as the result, but by becoming righteous we are becoming a doer of righteous works (1 John 3:4-7, Isaiah 51:7), which is why the faith by which we are declared righteous apart works also upholds the Law of God (Romans 3:28-31). For example, the Law of God teaches us that it is righteous to be a doer of charity and we can be a doer of charity through faith by the leading of the Spirit. The Spirit leading us to be a doer of charity through faith is not leading us to do something that isn't in accordance with what the Law of God instructs. There is nothing about being a doer of charity that is an unbearable yoke.Because the law has no power to teach us how to do the righteousness required by its edicts. Whereas the indwelling holy spirit does teach us how to do righteousness apart from following letters of law.
Obviously. However, as this is a discussion forum, it makes sense to post things that are relevant to others and to the discussion at hand, not merely to yourself.not irrelevant to me.
